Bug ID: 99283 Summary: paste loses superscript Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.4.2 release Hardware: Other OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nick_levin...@yahoo.com Superscripting gets lost in Writer but the steps to reproduce the problem are not the same every time. Apparently, Writer learns what a user wants in some cases, fixing the formatting, but the problem is then found in other cases. 1. With no documents open, in a new document, with auto-superscripting on, without saving the document, hand-type the phrase "the 1st time" (without quotation marks) as a paragraph (end it with Enter). The "st" should already be superscripted. 2. Select all. 3. Copy. 4. Have the insertion point at the beginning of the next paragraph. 5. Paste. Result: When I did it, the pasted string didn't have the superscripting (the "st" was full-size and sharing the baseline with other text). What should happen: Despite pasting, the "st" should stay superscripted in the pasted copy. The same thing happens in several other ways but not in all ways. The result of some of the ways is the same loss of superscripting. Probably related are bug 95790 and bug 88923. My version of LO is part of my OpenSuse 13.2 Linux, which is evergreen, so Writer is up to date. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
