[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 112422] Pictures Copied from Websites Disappear from Article
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112422 --- Comment #4 from janie...@yahoo.com --- I use Yahoo.com to surf the web. If I find an article with embedded pictures that I want to save to my Documents folder, I make a copy of it. I'm using Libre Writer. If I delay in saving the new document, the picture disappears and leaves a box behind that says "Read Error" in the top left corner. Or, alternatively, if I open a saved document that has pictures, the pictures will have disappeared with the same box and error message in its place. It happens all the time. The other place I copy pictures from is Zillow.com for interior photos of houses for sale. The same results occur with documents saved from this website. Also, I've had an occasion where I couldn't properly copy multiple interior photos from Zillow because they would overlap each other. I'd have to create numerous documents for one house in order to copy off the interior photos. So, it's a problem that I'd like to see rectified. I never had this problem with MS Word. I hope this adds more detail to work with. Thanks for your assistance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 114829] New: inserting a new line in a cell : the default Ctrl-Enter key combination leads to mistakes
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114829 Bug ID: 114829 Summary: inserting a new line in a cell : the default Ctrl-Enter key combination leads to mistakes Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.6.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jerome.bo...@wanadoo.fr The user interfaces mostly use : - the Ctrl modifier for an action, - the Alt and Alt Gr modifier for special caracters. For exemple, Thunderbird uses the Ctrl-Enter key combination in order to send immediatly the email while it is composed. The default Ctrl-Enter key combination for inserting a new line in a cell leads to mistakes. For example, I spent half an hour editing a Calc document with a lot of new lines in cells. When I came back to Thunderbird in order to send this document, I sent immediatly the email I was still writing just because I typed Ctrl-Enter in order to insert a new line because I didn't update the key map I had in mind when I took an other tool. This mistake couldn't occur with M Excel because it has Alt-Enter key combination instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108458 --- Comment #20 from Yousuf Philips (jay)--- Maxim: Sorry that i didnt have time to try out your patch, but glancing at the code, the alternative labels on the same node seem like an interesting way to reference a particular label if one is needed, but didnt really see the point in it if we are defining specific labels as ContextLabel, TooltipLabel, etc. The alias idea for the slide commands seems great as it would fix the customization dialog, but wouldnt solve the problem of a different icon needed for the alias command. But now that 6.0 has been branched and nearly out the door, you can begin working on improving this issue for the next release with the stuff we've already agreed upon, so that the kinks can be smoothened out over the next 6 months, and translators will have sufficient time to fix any changes that are made. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Bugzilla is not "document based", like "this document is displayed incorrectly". So what's the issue here? Table "Nõupidamisel arutatud teemad" has mixed "allow row to break across pages" (and also "repeat as header row" but I guess it's not the cause) values in different rows. LO can't read it properly and shows this table as it, let's guess, has "allow row to break across pages". MSO also shows this file as 8 pages if that table set with "allow row to break across pages". Copying is impossible with older versions, but has become possible in LO 5.* with the workaround you described, also by clicking on the tableheader with left mousebutton twice. But it's no copy. There is only created a new field for text with the same header as the existing field. You could copy comboboxes, listboxes - all copies will be textfields. I will set the version to the first LO-5.0 Could be there is a workaround for older versions, too. But copying without right content and workaround and only show a symbol for copying - seems to be very buggy.
