Can not confirm.

On Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US with OneNote 2016
Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)
Build ID: 8a2745e1beee722c8c9691c397e493cc1160bedf
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-05-01_00:38:47
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: CL

Content from a OneNote QuickNotes section can be copied and Pasted, default
looks to be as a DIB (Device Independent Bitmap), with option via Paste Special
of "Unformatted text" and the More options dialog giving additional format
support.

A clipboard viewer (InsideClipboard) shows OneNote delivers multiple formats to
the system clipboard-- format IDs 1:CF_TEXT, 8:CF_DIB, 13:CF_UNICODETEXT,
14:CF_ENHMETAFILE, 49410:HTML_Format, and 49953:OneNote 2010 Internal

This all seems to be correct allowing LibreOffice to parse the content for use
via Clipboard. If the default paste from clipboard seems to be the CF_DIB which
gets filter parsed and saved as a PNG in the Writer document.

Was good through the 6.1.0 Alpha1 branch
Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1 (x64)

So in the range

But nothing jumps out at me as work affecting the SvxCharacterMap, last
refactored for the Weld work.

Description:
In command line: executing "soffice --calc new.ods" does not create a new file

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure that soffice binary can be executed from your command line
2. Run >soffice.exe --calc newfile.ods
3. Observe the error dialogue

Actual Results:
Error dialogue complaining about nonexistence of file.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117362] New: Writer does not accept pasted text from other Windows applications

2018-04-30 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117362

Bug ID: 117362
Summary: Writer does not accept pasted text from other Windows
applications
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: davite...@gmail.com

Attempting to paste any text from a free version of OneNote to Writer does not
work.
* Reloading Writer document does not work.
* Pasting from web browser works.
* Workaround that works is to paste text (from OneNote) into a plain text
editor and then copy and paste from there into Writer. Downside is loss of
formatting, loss of tables and images.

Parameters:
* System: Windows 10 Home Edition the latest version
* OneNote v17.9226.20641.0
* LibreOffice v6.0.3.2

No. If the font is missing, we have no idea what its metrics were, this kind of
information is not embedded in Office documents.

Closing this as not a bug, if one does not have the exact font, all bets are
off and the end result is system-dependent.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117361] New: changing formula font size in impress destroys view

2018-04-30 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117361

Bug ID: 117361
Summary: changing formula font size in impress destroys view
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED

  Reporter: uwesto...@web.de

Created attachment 141800
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=141800=edit
initial state

- double-click on a formula in a slide
- use the menu Format -> Font size and select as base size 20 pt

result: the size of the formula element is too small to see the whole formula,
therefore

- try to change the size of the element

result: this is impossible. dragging the element at a corner to increase its
size makes it even smaller so that you cannot see anything.

Attached are screenshots documenting what is happening. This bug makes
real-life usage of formulas in slides almost impossible. Therefore I set its
severity to major.

- insert a formula to a slide
- try to change the size of the formula

result: this is not possible

- now right-click on the formula and open the Position and Size context menu
- uncheck there that the size is protected
- now set in the dialog the size

result: this works

This is unintuitive and strange workflow. Why can't one just resize the formula
by dragging the handle knobs like for all other objects? Also setting the size
in the right sidebar of Impress is impossible. So impress hides an existing
feature and cost me about 15 minutes to find out how a simple operation works.

"is there anything more to be done"; so if we actually destroy the dialog
in
the aDoubleClickHdl.Call(this), we have to return 'false'.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117354] New: Unable to produce double-line page borders

2018-04-30 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117354

Bug ID: 117354
Summary: Unable to produce double-line page borders
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: timelordwhit...@gmail.com

Description:
After upgrading to LibreOffice 6.0.x, Writer is unable to produce page borders
that are more than a single line. I have tried adding a new double-line page
border, but Writer only produces a single line. I also tried opening an old
document that previously had a double-border, but in that case I get multiple
lines, but they don't line up and lack spacing between them.

Format -> Page -> Borders -> Line Style = any double line option

Steps to Reproduce:
Format -> Page -> Borders -> Line Style = any double line option

Actual Results:
Single-line page border

Expected Results:
Double-line page border

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I think LO uses system dialogs (from Gnome). Try for example open file from
Firefox - you will get identical dialog. If I'm right then this is not our bug.
For permanently show hidden files, you can Edit>Preferences in file manager
Nautilus/Files.

Taking a look...
Problem is that SwVirtFlyDrawObj::getFullDragClone() in Writer uses
SdrTextObj::TRSetBaseGeometry at the cloned interation object, and that
SdrTextObj::TRSetBaseGeometry tries to 'force' metric to pool metric. The pool
metric befor the change that all SdrObjects have a SdrModel was fetched from
GlobalDrawObjectItemPool and thus was 100thmm, while now gets correctly fetched
from Writer's DrawItemPool and is Twips.
This shows that it did not work before and would have been wronf if it ever
would have worked.
It also shows that 'someone' implies that input data to ::TRSetBaseGeometry is
*always' 100thmm - this was never defined nor intended.
Thus the question is - why is this 'force' done here? Will need to find that
out. In *some* circumstances someone seems to have used this (and the wrong
imply) to fix/change/do something...

Hah! This is not actually Win-only: I am able to make it flicker on Linux, if I
hover many times over the edge. GTK3 backend is immune to this, as expected.

Still repro the triangle flicker on Win.
