** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Do you use a larger scaling for the display, eg. 150%? That is the default
setting in Windows 10, if you have a high resolution (4k) monitor. To see your
actual scaling right click the desktop > Display settings. If you do not get
the information directly, click on "Advanced scaling settings".

Does starting is always longer or only the first time you use something which
you have not used before? With a larger scaling, LibreOffice generates larger
icons on the fly and store them into
/cache//.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50050] Make LE (Link End) Index/Table Entry component character style match LS (Link Start) by default

the dialog code is in sw/source/ui/index/cnttab.cxx

it works with instances of FormToken that have the sCharStyle member to
represent the character style.

it appears to me that the character style set on the LE link-end token does not
have a visible effect on the resulting entries; in
ToxTextGenerator::GenerateText a formatting hint is inserted, but it is
inserted with SetAttrMode::DONTEXPAND on an empty range, so it will not have a
visible effect.

this is unique to the LE token, the other ones can at least sometime generate
text to which the char style will be applied.

for the entire range between LS and LE, the sCharStyle of the LS token is
applied, overwriting any style set on inner tokens.

so either the LE token's char style should be synced to the LS token in the UI
so as to not confuse users, or the style widget should be disabled for the LE
token.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120948] New: Deleting large number of rows/cells breaks group formula

2018-10-26 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120948

Bug ID: 120948
Summary: Deleting large number of rows/cells breaks group
formula
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.6.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: psdasi...@yahoo.com

Description:
Having a large table (ex. 20 rows) - may be a single column -, deleting a
large number of rows or cells breaks a formula (like sum, for example) that
refers to them.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a big table of 20 lines. For this example may be a single column
from A1:A20 filled with 1.
This could be achieved by going to cell A20, use ctrl+shift+uparrow to
select up to A1, type 1 followed by alt+shift+enter

2. Enter in cell A21 (for example) the formula =SUM(A1:20)

3. Delete rows (or cells - not their content) A2 to A18 (for example)

Actual Results:
The entered formula (SUM), now in cell A4, gives Error:522 and contain formula
=SUM(A1:A196611)

Expected Results:
The formula should be
=SUM(A1:A3) with result 3.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This happens with other formulas. Not only the SUM.

Versão: 6.0.6.2

follow up to comment #3 and comment #4:

some reading reveals that there is exactly 1 timezone in MSO binary files: the
type FILETIME is always UTC, as specified in [MS-DTYP]
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc230273.aspx "2.3.3 FILETIME".

hence the import code in oleprops.cxx should set the util::DateTime value to
UTC, and the SfxDocumentInfoDialog may need to either display an UTC marker or
convert to local time.

   What|Removed |Added

 Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW

If you use a larger scaling in your OS, e.g. 150%, LibreOffice generates a
subfolder in folder "cache", which contains enlarged icons. It has the same
name as the icon-theme, e.g. colibre. Therein is a subfolder corresponding to
your scaling factor, e.g. 150. Therein are similar folders as can be found in
images_colibre.zip in share/config, when you would unpack it. Therein is a
folder svx/res. It has a file "markers.png" with a size of 175x138 (for 150%)
in case of that in cache, whereas the original file in images_colibre has a
size of 117x92.

Neither the folder in "cache" nor the original folder in images_colibre.zip has
single images of name "marker-rect9-6.png" or similar. Thus the fallback
"markers.png" with all markers in one image is used. But the method, which cut
of the desired marker from the total image, expects a size of 117x92 and
therefore cuts the wrong parts out of the file of 175x138 size.

The same problem is with the crop markers. The original file has size 153x63
and the enlarged on 229x94.

As quick workaround, you can copy the original file and put it at the same
place in the folder in cache.
