Apparently it doesn't help to change the property at installer run-time.
Obviously, the localization transforms are chosen at installation start time
(either implicitly using regional settings, or from passed ProductLanguage, or
explicitly by mentioning e.g. TRANSFORMS=:1084), and not re-applied later.

This is fixable by adding a language-specific icon under /cmd (e.g. cmd/ar and
cmd/fa; icon artists, be aware that some RTL languages use Hindu-Arabic
numerals and others use Eastern Arabic numerals, and the icons should reflect
that).

Try changing KDE widget styles too(KDE System Settings > Application Style >

(just between us, I had this happening to me sometimes but I always attributed
it to my own development work in progress, I use Breeze widget style for the

Yes, let's close this one, since the originally described bug no longer occurs.

Please open a new bug report if the issue with Calc is still present, and
mention explicit steps to reproduce there.
For example, I had no issues copying some text from Kate into a cell in Calc.

In particular if you're copying a large HTML table, you might be hitting bug
123115.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124158] New: "Share" button/functionality missing

2019-03-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124158

Bug ID: 124158
   Summary: "Share" button/functionality missing
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: iOS
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: cont...@0x17.ch

Description:
Most iOS apps offer a "share button" to send a file to external tools/services.
This is missing in the current iOS version and would be needed for some tools
such as printing to specific services/printers, sharing through chat or mail,
etc.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document in the iOS app
2. Try to share the document with other tools/services

Actual Results:
It's not possible to share a document from within the iOS app.

Expected Results:
The iOS app should offer sharing capability.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I'm not sure what the best format for sharing would be - most probably PDF as
other tools could then at least do something useful with it.

Maybe a hyprid PDF (PDF with embedded ODF file) would be the best solution?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124029] FILEOPEN: MS Office 97. Shape 'arc' from binary MS Office has wrong position

2019-03-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124029

Created attachment 150058
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=150058=edit
Arc as decorative shape in page margin of Word-document

The attached file shows problems with arcs, that are placed at the edge of a
page.

A simple movement does not work, because Writer does not allow part of the
shape to be outside the page. Further problems occur, if the arc is part of a
group or transformed by flip and rotation.
In addition, MS Office counts always the entire arc including the center point
in the size, even if the shape is unfilled and only the arc is drawn.

It would be necessary to restrict the viewBox to the actual drawn sector or
arc. But then the adjustment handles do not work correctly and there exist no
UI for the user to manipulate the viewBox, when the angles are altered.

A fix seems to be a large effort. Given that this particular shape is no longer
used by today's OOXML format, it is questionable whether such an expense is
even worthwhile.

2019-03-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124176

Bug ID: 124176
Summary: Use pragma once instead of include guards
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: Inherited From OOo
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: s.mehrbr...@gmail.com

Background: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Include_guard

The task is to remove the include guards in the header files and replace them
with "#pragma once".

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124175] New: Automatic spellchecking seems not to work

2019-03-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124175

Bug ID: 124175
Summary: Automatic spellchecking seems not to work
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: iOS
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: cont...@0x17.ch

Description:
It seems the iOS app doesn't check the spelling automatically. I can't find the
possibility to set the language for the document (or paragaph).

Maybe there is no dictionary available?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create/open a document in the iOS app
2. Select text and try to set the language for the given text by clicking the
menu entry "Extras > Language > For the whole page"

Actual Results:
There is no language I can choose from and wrong spelled words are not
"redlined".

Expected Results:
A user should be able to choose the language for the text.
Misspelled words should be marked as such (redlining).

Reproducible: Always
