Just realized you actually were asking for a "multi-character" delimiter. No, unfortunately, we do not implement a multicharacter delimiter, just a single character--and in your example LO was doing as told and using the first character you enter in the Filter Settings dialog--so " " (U+0020) delimited. I guess there is an issue here is that the filter dialog "allows" you to enter more than 1 character in the field--but it is parsed down to just the first character. The filter dialog was made persistent (OOo issue 3687), but can find no discussion of implementing a multicharacter delimiter from the OOo era or for LibreOffice. IMHO such an enhancement is =>WF, otherwise this is NAB. Personally I would just use the "&" delimiter, and then flush resulting delimited file through sed to add the leading and trailing spaces. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Then the program restart and ask to restore the file. After that, if I try again to add or change a transition animation the app crashes again. This happen with or without acceleration activated. Just to note. Acceleration OpenGL is pointless at this moment in time. If developers from both LO, Collabora etc. want to keep developing Impress on MacOSX they have to adapt to the new (unfortunate) standard for Mac (not sure if it is Metal Api or Vulcan or something like that) because the support for OpenGL on Mac has been dropped long time ago. For all mac users, for now at least, stick with Keynote. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Impress 2. Go to Transition 3. Select a 3D animation to be applied Actual Results: app crashes Expected Results: apply the transition and actually displayed it. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124943] New: Copy to edit bar adds a suffix space, that is inconsistent with paste to cell.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124943 Bug ID: 124943 Summary: Copy to edit bar adds a suffix space, that is inconsistent with paste to cell. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.7.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: openfo...@davidpbrown.co.uk Copy Ctrl+C any cell with text content; move the cursor (keyboard or mouse) onto another cell but paste to the edit bar at the top - noting this provides a useful visibility at times better than the cell. There is a suffix space added that is not wanted and is inconsistent with a paste to the cell, where that does not occur. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124780 Regina Henschel changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |NEEDINFO CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- Comment #4 from Regina Henschel --- How was this document created? It has two group objects on the master page with attribute "drawooo:display="printer". I find no way in the UI to get access to these group objects. Set LO to save in "ODF 1.2" so that all private attributes are removed and then save the document under a new name. Reopen this new document and you will see these group objects. You see it too, if you look at the preview in the print dialog. There is no need for separate issues. It is all about these group objects. To solve the problem in PowerPoint, open its selection pane and switch to master view. Select the topmost "master" in the left pane. Then you will see the groups in the selection pane. Click on the eye to make it invisible. PowerPoint has no option "print only", but "not visible" means "not printable" too. So the fact, that you see the groups in PowerPoint is a missing feature of PowerPoint. Or alternatively sent the group objects to back, so that they do not hide the other object on the master slide. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

No, if we are to adopt Single toolbar mode with a Sidebar deck to hold any context sensitive toolbars--they would need to go into a Content panel holding just the controls for the Toolbar as customized by user. We could not use an exiting Content panel--widgets positioned to different panels would be horrible UX. Rather, think here the Deck would contain the elements of what would otherwise pop-up in the activated context sensitive toolbar--but packed into a Content panel. Perhaps with a Tab bar button widget to toggle the behavior: 1.) show context sensitive Toolbar(s) as Toolbar, 2.) show context sensitive Toolbar(s) packed onto a Sidebar content panel (maintain use customizations of selection and sequence) when activated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124937] New: crash when trying to open a .doc file
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124937 Bug ID: 124937 Summary: crash when trying to open a .doc file Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.3.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: laurael...@gmail.com Description: LibreOffice simply doesn't work when I try to open a .doc file (I don't remember this happening with the previous releases -- if it ever did it has been very occasional); the file opens for a second, and then I get a notification that due to an "unexpected error" LibreOffice has stopped working. I manage to open the file approximately in every 10th attempt. I manage to open the file instantly if I open it in Microsoft Word first and save it as .docx. Steps to Reproduce: First of all even though I tried to download LibreOffice in English (choosing the language option specifically) I get it in Italian only and can't change the language of the interface. So I'm just assuming what the notifications say in EN: 1) I try to open a .doc, and I get a notification "Due to an unexpected error, LibreOffice was blocked.(...)" 2) I then get a 2nd notification for sending an error report and I also have the option to "Restart LibreOffice to access the safe mode" 3) I try to restart LibreOffice and restore the file I had tried to open --> Windows notification "LibreOffice has stopped working". This happens also if I decide NOT to restore the file I had tried to open. 4) All the above points apply also if I open the program in Safe Mode I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and opened it in safe mode but it just keeps crashing. Actual Results: The program keeps crashing. Only very occasionally I manage to open the file. The crash reason is EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ Workaround is to open it in Microsoft Word and save it as .docx and then open it in LibreOffice -- naturally applies only if you have the access to MS Word, or if not, I suppose you have to get another application for the file conversion. On macOS, the system reports that it has a generic German ("de") dictionary, and our code then assumes it can be use for all six German locales ("de_AT", "de_BE", "de_CH", "de_DE", "de_LI", and "de_LU"). But on iOS the system reports it specifically has a German (Germany) ("de_DE") dictionary.
