The DatabaseRange.Filter method does not work, if you do not take some actions. 2. There is an error that occurs when copying the FilterFields() structure. The first can be overcome, the second should be taken into account and not used. Expected Results: 1. The Advanced Filter should work the same way as through the menu commands. 2. The second mistake, I suppose, is easy to fix, but alas, I'm not a programmer. Not true. Windows 10 still uses GBK (code page 936), not UTF-8. Or select all items and numbering will continue in step 6. LO gives more options and doesn't predict what user wants, as Comment 1 said. You can decide exactly what to include in Continue and what not. The dialog box opened with that command gives no indication that a List Style is being modified. (unless one notices that a list style name is indicated in Status Bar) In contrast, in Sidebar for List Styles, right-click on a list style and choose "Modify". Now an Organizer tab is included. Proposals: 1. In the UI, the "Bullets and Numbering" command (dialog) should not modify List Styles (as it does at present). 2. When a List Style is being modified, it should be via an "Edit List Style" command, with the List Style dialog (templatedialog16.ui) which has the Organizer tab. Reasons: a. should be parallel to Character and Paragraph context menus, where it is possible to edit a Character or a Paragraph (where that dialog does not modify the Character Style or Paragraph Style). For Character and Paragraph, there are separate dialogs that must be chosen to modify the Style (where these dialogs also have an Organizer tab). I recognize that "Organizer" tab is more or less "useless" for List styles (beyond giving a name to a custom style), but it gives a clear visual indicator that a List Style is being modified, that is comparable to when styles in the other style families are modified. The clear indication that a List Style is involved is the important issue here, where the Organizer tab is an already established familiar appearance (i.e., other solutions might be possible). b. at present, the Bullets and Numbering command in the Text | List context menu modifies both List Style and DF list, with no clear indication for the user that a List Style is being modified (i.e., what looks like an attempt to apply direct formatting to a List Style actually changes the list style definition). No strong suggestion for UI implications yet. It's LibreOffice's import filter's problem if it can not open it. What matters is: can you open it on your system with LibreOffice Draw, and when opened does Draw render the barcode and English text OK, but the Chinese text is not correctly rendered? When I move the mouse over the window, the graphics goes crazy, placing what looks like massively-zoomed-in images over the window, making it impossible to edit the file. I've attached some screenshots. This bug does not occur when I open a spreadsheet (ods). I've tried to fix the problem by deleting and re-installing the Libreoffice app, and by upgrading the Mac to Big Sur; all to no avail. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open an odt file. 2.Move cursor over the file image. 3.Graphics goes crazy. Actual Results: Graphics is covered by variable images of graphics, generally zoomed in like magnifying glass images. Next time I open the file I get an error message "Libre Office will attempt to recover the state of the files you were working on..." Choices are START or DISCARD. I close the dialog box with the x and get another error "Are you sure you want to discard". I answer NO, the box goes away and the document opens. It does not seem that recover is needed or happening. Eliminate this? Actual Results: Open Libre Office Writer. Click OPEN. Recovery message appears. Click x at upper right hand corner. "Are you sure.." message appears. Click NO. File opens. Expected Results: File opened Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: No recovery is needed.
