https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58440 --- Comment #43 from beatgam...@gmail.com --- I did some messing around with it and found a workaround. Holding down Option will copy the currently selected column and allow it to be inserted next to a target column. The original column could then be deleted. I haven't tested this on Linux (will try to do that later) or Windows, so I'm not sure if there's a similar workaround. Excel supports moving cells by: 1. select a column/row 2. hold shift while clicking at the edge of the column next to a cell, not the header 3. release the click in the desired location before releasing shift This works on my Mac (Catalina). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

That's what I meant with "easy to paste without styles". I understand, thanks (maybe you mean ctrl+shift+alt+V, "Paste unformatted text"). But this also removes the character style from the pasted text. So I have no way to paste text with the characters style retained but not the paragraph style. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141729 --- Comment #19 from John Gerrish --- I guess I should have mentioned that I skipped Catalina version completely and so I had not upgraded beyond, Yosemite. So Tim saying that the problem existed for him for 2 years (If he was staying up to date on MacOS) is not inconsistent with my experience. Maybe it has been a problem for previous version as well and I just missed since I stay away from the bleeding edge. Btw, this morning while using Calc, while changing column width by dragging column header border, it is blanking everything downward to bottom of the window below where the mouse is dragging (but not the column header row itself). Sometimes when you first begin the resize the blanked area has some weird magnified graphic artifacts. When you release the trackpad dragging, the display returns to the normal gridlines and cell contents. If you want to search for a > text that is also a regular expression, you must either precede every > character with a "\" character, or enclose the text into \Q...\E. You can > switch the automatic evaluation of wildcards or regular expression on and > off in Tools - Options - LibreOffice Calc - Calculate. The parentheses (and many other elements) are parts of Regular Expression syntax [2], and since your document has regular expressions enabled, the parentheses are considered capturing elements of regular expression, not literal search characters. Make sure to not use regular expressions in formulas, or to properly mask the strings that should not be treated as regular expressions, as described in the help. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72043 --- Comment #34 from Maria Garcia --- Hi, other than https://www.economicshomeworkhelper.com/microeconomics-assignment/;>economics assignment help are there other subjects that you cover? I am having several assignments one needs an https://www.economicshomeworkhelper.com/;>economics homework help expert and the other one needs a financial expert. If you can guarantee quality work on both then I can hire you to complete them. All I am sure of is that I can hire you for the economics one but the finance one I am not sure. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
