[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 45074] New: Failed symbol dependency from builtin libstc++ DSO
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45074 Bug #: 45074 Summary: Failed symbol dependency from builtin libstc++ DSO Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.0 RC1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: gordon.l...@dsl.pipex.com The distribution of LibreOffice for 3.5.0RC1 contains it's own elibstdc++.so.6 DSO, and things are set up for that to be used ahead of the system libstdc++.so.6. However - this version is not the latest, and so libraries which are used from the underlying system install (as the LO install does not include them) can fail to load because of missing symbol version dependencies. Hence this: [parent]: /opt/libreoffice3.5/program/soffice /opt/libreoffice3.5/program/../ure-link/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by /usr/lib64/libproxy.so.1) Failed to load module: /usr/lib64/gio/modules/libgiolibproxy.so The supplied libstdc++.so.6 only goes up to GLIBCXX_3.4.9 Since I don't actually use a proxy this may not affect me directly (I was only running 3.4.5RC1 to check out another bug) but it may well affect others, and there may well be other library dependencies which would affect me. Similar things have been reported before (see, e.g. Bug32852), but that report has been closed a No a Bug. See in particular comment 3 of bug 43454: It is impossible to fix this, because LibreOffice 3.4.4 is released and the bug is in LibreOffice 3.4.4 installer. It was fixed for 3.4.5, see bug 36677. Workaround: First you need to uninstall 3.4.4. It usually works in interactive mode, or you can use uninstaller tools such as Perfect Uninstaller. I suppose we now have another work-around: upgrade to LibreOffice 3.4.5 and *then* upgrade to LibreOffice 3.5. It remains very annoying that we cannot fix this in the *new* installer. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 36677 *** -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45084 famo fam...@googlemail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Platform|Other |All --- Comment #3 from famo fam...@googlemail.com 2012-01-22 07:16:34 PST --- @Pedro: Unless a rule is setup that if an HTML file only contains a table, then open in Calc... Does that make sense? Partly, please see point 2.a in OP: 2.a under File type choose HTML Document (OpenOffice.org Calc) (*.html;*.htm) This option (File type) is specifically there to open the file in Calc. Notice also that this bug is a regression and it worked as described before. It /could/ be that this is a knew expected behavior in 3.5, but I highly doubt that because the File Type option (HTML Document (OpenOffice.org Calc) (*.html;*.htm)) wouldn't make any sense then. You can still open the HTML file as a spreadsheet by opening Calc and choosing Insert, Sheet from file and selecting the HTML file you know only contains a table. Yes, that would be a good work around. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 45078] upper table border lost in .pdf export. Regression from 3.3.4
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45078 --- Comment #3 from tommy27 ba...@quipo.it 2012-01-22 07:32:34 PST --- Created attachment 55964 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=55964 comparative screenshot 3.3.4 vs. 3.4.5 @JBF Here's what I see in my system (Vista 64bit). These is a comparative screenshot between the 3.3.4 .pdf (upper border present) and the 3.4.5 .pdf (upper border missing) taken from Adobe Acrobat 8. I redownloaded the same .pdf files I0ve attached before, so I confirm the bug existing in 3.4.5 and not in 3.3.4. Why do you say that the 3.4.5 .pdf file is better? I doubt it's a matter of screen resolution since the 3.4.5 file has no upper border in any zoom level I tried in Acrobat (even 2400%) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 45088] New: : Macros from other Calc documents aren't executed when called
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45088 Bug #: 45088 Summary: : Macros from other Calc documents aren't executed when called Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.4.5 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: zza...@gmail.com Problem description: I have a number of macros that open other calc documents, change them and call some macros in them. Other calc document is opened like this: Dim aOdsProps(1) as new com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue aOdsProps(0).name = MacroExecutionMode aOdsProps(0).Value = 0 frame = ThisComponent.CurrentController.Frame MyDoc = frame.LoadComponentFromUrl(uPath, _default, 0, aOdsProps()) After some manipulation, a macro from opened document is called (the document is called Pregled.ods, and the macro is FillIndexList): uMacroUrl = macro://Pregled/Standard.Module1.FillIndexList oDispatch = createUnoService( com.sun.star.frame.DispatchHelper ) oDispatch.executeDispatch( StarDesktop, uMacroUrl, , 0, Array() ) This works as expected in LO 3.3.3 and OpenOffice 3.3, but in LO 3.4.3, 3.4.4 and 3.4.5 simply nothing happens: macro isn't executed (macro should make some additional changes, but they aren't done, this is how I know that it isn't executed), and there isn't any error box that says that something is wrong. Current behavior: When called, macro from another document isn't executed. Expected behavior: After calling macro from another document, it should be executed. Platform (if different from the browser): Ubuntu 11.10, LO 3.4.5, 3.4.4, 3.4.3, Mint Debian, LO 3.3.3 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Ubuntu; X11; Linux i686; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
