(If you're using non-metric units the values will be different.) * Note the position of the image * Save the document under a different name * Reload the document * The position of the image has changed * The value of 'Above paragraph' and 'Below paragraph' are now 0.0cm. I wasn't able to reproduce this bug with other OOo 3.2.1 documents. So this might be a one time fluke. But since we have thousands of legacy documents, I find this bug somewhat troublesome. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

My analysis shows that the driver (libevoablo.so) is: 1) Not installed 2) Not registered My analysis shows that that is not true :-) This whole install / registration stuff is a bit of a magic blackbox for me. For example, the mozab driver somehow ends up in install/program/services.rdb, but I cannot find *how* so that I can do the same with evoab. Weirdly, mozab is not in workdir/unxlngx6/Rdb/ure/services.rdb, but it is in install/program/services/services.rdb It is in workdir/unxlngx6/Rdb/uno_services.rdb . ure/services.rdb is for URE services only. I took inspiration from PostgreSQL-SDBC to generate a working evoab.rdb that I could drop there. It would maybe be better to put evoab also in services.rdb rather than its own file? It has never had a rdb file of its own, i.e., its service description has always been placed into services.rdb . I tried to hack our install system to do the same with evoab than with mozab, but failed to have it make what I wanted. This happens in postprocess/packcomponents/makefile.mk . @dtardon: you switched connectivity to gbuild; could you please double-check that this regression was not introduced during that switch, in that the gbuild fails to do what the dmake did? Thanks. Well, it is evident that it does work at least somewhere :-) It is possible there is some other condition that is true here but not in your build and which causes the evoab driver not to be included in the installation. I will double check for this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47368] Many crashes when accessibility enabled on MacOS X
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47368 --- Comment #93 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de 2012-09-07 09:43:25 UTC --- (In reply to comment #92) Can somebody give *exact* reproduction instructions with LibreOffice 3.6.1 on Mac OS X 10.8.1? I have only Mac OS X 10.6.8, and can reproduce the crash only with the help of some 3rd party accessibility-related utility (see below), but here are two step-by-step procedures which crash both LibO 3.6.1 and the current master build (I can give more such step-by-step procedures if necessary): I) Adding a cell border in Calc (cf. bug 50467, bug 51791) -- 0) Rename your LibO user profile folder, to make sure that there is no influence of any special settings on the test (I always do so before such tests). 1) Start LibreOffice; - the Start Center window appears. 2) In the Start Center window, click Spreadsheet; - a new spreadsheet document is created, cell A1 is already selected. 3) Select Format Cells... from the menu; - the Format Cells dialog window appears. 4) Select the tab Borders. 5) At top left, under Line Arrangement / Default, select the second item (Set all four borders); - the border preview below changes. 6) Click OK. - LibreOffice crashes. II) Selecting a pane in the application Options window (cf. bug 44807, bug 52147, and probably bug 37913) 0) Rename your LibO user profile folder, to make sure that there is no influence of any special settings on the test (I always do so before such tests). 1) Start LibreOffice; - the Start Center window appears. 2) Select LibreOffice Preferences... from the menu; - the Options dialog window appears. 3) In the list at the left side of the window, click on any top-level entry -- I mean, one of the entries Load/Save, Language Settings, LibreOffice Base, Charts, Internet, which can be unfolded to show the sub-entries. - Most times LibreOffice will crash now; if not, click on another top-level entry. It _may_ be necessary that the top-level entry is not unfolded, but closed before you click on it. Preferably using only the OS's own accessibility tools. Sorry, this is my big problem: I have never managed to reproduce these crashes with the OS's own accessibility tools only; strange (maybe this depends on the Mac OS version? most reports mention Mac OS X 10.7). But I can reproduce the same crashes as reported by the users when I install some window-management utility like Moom, Cinch, RightZoom, ShiftIt, BetterSnapTool ... which all rely on accessibility features. For the tests given above, I have used RightZoom. What I did: 1) Download it, e.g. from http://download.cnet.com/Right-Zoom/3000-18487_4-10909444.html 2) Install it. 3) Start the application RightZoom. 4) In the 2nd tab Applications, select Enable RightZoom in all applications. 5) In the 1st tab, check Activate RightZoom and click on Apply. 6) Quit the RightZoom application. 7) You can now check in the Terminal via top, if the Daemon (with the same name: RightZoom) is running. z) Later: To remove RightZoom again: start the application; in the 1st tab, check Activate RightZoom; click Apply. I have tried with VoiceOver but no crash. I would guess that the best candidate is not VoiceOver, but Enable access for assistive devices; this option is the one which is mentioned in most bug reports. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I have by e.g. about 5MB large ODS spreadsheet, in which I store various data. Before on LO 3.5.* , it worked fast. Now, it takes minutes to load or save the file at change. And I'm updating the file quite often per day. When I was searching for an root cause, I've noticed, that only one CPU core is being in use by CPU process when loading/saving. I believe, this migt be it, as I have laptop with 4 core CPU (i5) , and htop/top revealed only one working on 100% at the process of load/save. I've tested it also on one another separate arch virtual pc, having only two CPU cores, and htop/top again revealed only one CPU core in use at 100%. As might be seen in here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=148492 , I'm not the only person affected. I've also found this problem on the Ubuntu distro: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1034999 Furthermore, I'm not sure, whether this problem is present on Linux systems only, as I haven't tested it yet at other systems like Windows, but it it possible, that it might be related to other OS's as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54641] New: RTF: References not imported properly
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54641 Bug #: 54641 Summary: RTF: References not imported properly Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.5.3 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: the.beez.spe...@gmail.com Created attachment 66793 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=66793 A short RTF file which triggers the error. Problem description: References are defined like REF name, e.g. REF BMyName. When imported the links in the text that reference them are ONE character less, e.g. instead of BMyName they are MyName and have to be manually corrected. The same RTF file is imported in MS-Word intact. Steps to reproduce: 1. Take a valid RTF file with embedded references (preferably with names starting with B); 2. Import it; 3. All references show Reference not found Current behavior: Reference not found message is issued in the text. Expected behavior: Proper reference to section, figure, chapter, etc. is made. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53590 --- Comment #6 from Caolán McNamara caol...@redhat.com 2012-09-07 14:06:22 UTC --- These document display a wrong word count because that's the word count stored in their meta.xml which gets loaded and used until the document is dirtied at which point it gets recalculated. Seeing as LibreOffice wrote these .odt's presumably the wordcount was wrong after loading the original .doc/.docx. What I'd really like is the original .doc and .docx to make sure we now have the right word count after loading the original format. Either way I guess we'll probably have to mark loaded SwDocStat's as suspect and recalculate them on first request. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
