[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62208] FORMATTING: Conditional format display differs from configuration
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62208 --- Comment #2 from Daniel Schmidt daniel.schmidt@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #1) Hello Daniel, if you select range B12:B30 instead of cells one by one, and apply your formula, which result ? Regards, Jacques Hi Jacques, what I wanted is, to format B12 dependent on A12, B13 dependent on A13 and so on. So I first added the conditional format only to B12 and then I copied the format with the copy-format function. How do I have to write the formula for cell range B12:B30 to reach the relative dependence to the respective cell in column A? Thank you! Have a nice day! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62211] : Libreoffice crashes when creating new dropdown cell with cell range as source / data validation dialog issues
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62211 --- Comment #4 from Daniel Schmidt daniel.schmidt@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #1) Hi Daniel, thanks for the clear report. (In reply to comment #0) Created attachment 76372 [details] LibreOffice spreadsheet document with a test case and the bugdescription I didn't test it on other OSs. Cannot reproduce this on Linux/Ubuntu with a clean document nor with the attached file.. So this seems Windows specific ?? Some translation for others: 2. Go to Daten-Gültigkeit dialog Data Validation (in English) 5. Set focus to cell range field in dialog The field 'Source' that is available when 'Cell range' is choosen in the list 'Allow' I tried this yesterday on my openSUSE KDE notebook and I could not reproduce this behaviour, too. So probably it's a windows-only-bug... ;) Thank you for your translations! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62147] Fonts in Forms are not displayed correctly
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62147 --- Comment #2 from Benjamin Wagner i...@ben-wagner.de --- The fileds are formatted as fonts, some with bold because they are capitals, some with standard text, for example Arial 10pt. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53165 --- Comment #4 from John Talbut j...@dpets.co.uk --- This bug affects me too. Currently LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 from Debian. The workaround that I use after I have made a change in the bibliography database is to delete the reference in the text (the short title) and then re-insert it. What if I intendedly wanted to hide some text? When I open a document I want to see the same row height I saw when I saved the document. And that seems more or less what reporter expects. To get familiar with the current situation I did some tests (what might not all be related to core of the problem). Due to http://odf-validator2.rhcloud.com/odf-validator2/ reporter's sample document is valid ODF I opened reporter's sample with various different LibO Versions (all: WIN7, 64 Bit), checked row heights for rows, tested result (problem healed?) after a: for A4:A5 Format -- Rows - Optimimum height' b: Insert Space, then Enter at end of cell text c: Result (text vies A5) when reopen documents after test 'b' (problem with version from ) 3.3.3 row 4: 51,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,6 mm, all text visible, c: 3.3.3=cut top/bottom 3.4.5=cut top/bottom 3.5.7.2=cut top/bottom 4.0.1.2=cut top/bottom, Master=cut top/bottom AOO=cut top/bottom Symph=cut top/bottom 3.4.5 row 4: 51,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,6 mm, all text visible, c: Same as with 3.3.3 3.5.7.2 row 4: 04,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,9 mm, all text visible, c: All correct opened 3.6.5.2 row 4: 04,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,9 mm, all text visible, c: All correct opened 4.0.1.2 row 4: 04,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,9 mm, all text visible, c: All correct opened 4.1.0.0+ Master row 4: 04,8 mm, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,9 mm, all text visible, c: All correct opened AOOo 3.4.1 row 4: 54,8 mm, all text visible, row 5: 07,2 mm, all text visible, c: not tested Symphony row 4: 51,4 mm, all text visible, not all text visible, a: yes, b: yes row 5: 07,2 mm, all text visible, c: not tested After all these results I would like a more precise Bug Summary: Optimum row height should be retained after save - close - reopen. For this bug definitions after LibO 3.4 no longer any problems So I see this problem WFM. @Bernhard Dippold first: I can not reproduce your results. Only AOOo opens your sample with optimum row height. All LibO versions cut contents. I think your problem is different to the one you stated in the summary line. It seems you expect that due to style:use-optimal-row-height='true' the row height should be recalculated when you open the file. But that might be wrong. I cite ISO/IEC 26300 First edition 2006-12-01: 15.10.2 Optimal Table Row Height The style:use-optimal-row-height attribute specifies that the row height should be recalculated automatically if some content in the row changes. Or Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) Version 1.2 Part 1: OpenDocument Schema OASIS Standard 29 September 2011: 20.384 style:use-optimal-row-height The style:use-optimal-row-height attribute specifies that a row height should be recalculated automatically if content in the row changes. The defined values for the style:use-optimal-row-height attribute are: ● false: row height should not be recalculated automatically if content in the row changes. ● true: row height should be recalculated automatically if content in the row changes. This is something like my test 'B' and works for all LibO Versions. But you can't expect a recalculation at fileopen, your software manipulating contents will be responsible for height recalculation. May be you benefitted from some liberal interpretation of ISO or similar? Can you explain the different observations? I see text in A5 truncated also with 3.4.5., can it be that 3.4.4 behavior differs? I will check later. Currently I see no bug here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54275] Linux: Unable to Save (or Save As) New Document on Samba (gvfs) Mounted Share
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54275 Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|ASSIGNED Assignee|libreoffice-b...@lists.free |sberg...@redhat.com |desktop.org | --- Comment #25 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com --- The description of this issue sounds very much like https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=895690 Libreoffice causing errors when SAVING files by gvfs-mount (Samba). However, there are two alternative ways LO can access gvfs, either via the gvfs UCP (when the LO build is configured --enable-gnome-vfs) or via the gio UCP (when the LO build is configured --enable-gio). https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=895690 Libreoffice causing errors when SAVING files by gvfs-mount (Samba) is definitely due to the gio UCP. The generic Linux LO builds (as can be downloaded from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/) use the gvfs UCP, while the LO builds included in Ubuntu (which is mentioned in many of the comments here) reportedly uses the gio UCP. It is unclear to me whether people reporting here experienced the problem with generic builds or with Ubuntu-specific ones (or both). So for those people (if any) who experienced this with Ubuntu-specific builds, this issue would be a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=895690 Libreoffice causing errors when SAVING files by gvfs-mount (Samba) (for which I have a fix that will go into the various upstream LO branches). And for those people (if any) who experienced this with generic builds, this would mean that a similar problem to the one fixed for the gio UCP now is also present in the gvfs UCP. I'm going to investigate that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

While writing it I've stepped up from LibreOffice 3.5 to 3.6 and now 4.0. With LO 4.0 (both 4.0.0.3 and 4.0.1.2) I started having problems while importing svg images, i.e. images that were displayed fine in LO 3.6 are not displayed correctly in LO 4.0. Going back to LO 3.6 solved the problem (for both, I'm using the version downloaded from the LO website). I'm attaching two of the images that are having problems. For one of them (esipt.svg) I have the font (FreeSans) used inside the image installed in my system, for the other no (helvetica). I'm using linux as a main system but the problem is present in Windows 7, too. Steps to reproduce: 0. If needed, install GNU FreeFonts: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/freefont/ 1. Open images in Inkscape: everything's ok. 2. Import images in LO 3.6: everything is displayed correctly. 3. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62208 --- Comment #3 from Jacques Guilleron guillero...@aol.com --- Hi Daniel, Just think for one cell your conditional format in the same way, but before you leave the dialog box you set it, look at the bottom where this is applied and select or write the range you want. For a long time, it wasn't possible but now, it is. That simplify significantly writing and reading for conditional format. Now, since we have a whole range instead of cell by bell setting, introduce a new line betwween these boundaries which have the same condition is quite easy. Best regards. Have a nice day too. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58371 --- Comment #10 from Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu --- So, here's what is happening: The reportdesign::OShape claims to have properties CustomShapeEngine, CustomShapeDesign, etc, but when one tries to get their value, the internal m_aProps.aComponent.m_xProperty throws com::sun::star::beans::UnknownPropertyException which is unexpected and thus aborts LibreOffice. The internal m_aProps.aComponent.m_xProperty seems to be completely empty (!), while the hasPropertyByname method recognises more than 200 property names! Possibly this is a problem of query aggregation (the get property value is dispatched to the wrong object), but I think this is rather that the OShape is not initialised properly. I believe this may be a mis-formatting of Command/Ctrl -- a reference to the different modifier key used on OSX. Things get even more confusing if one is using an Apple keyboard or an Apple laptop, but running Windows or GNU/Linux. Results are shown as expected, except when adding criterias to TIME or DATE fields, in this case these fields are shown as empty, which they are not. If the query is saved in LibreOffice Base and then exported to other programs (e.g. Writer og Calc) all values are intact, so the error is only present when viewing the query result in the result pane inside Base. Steps to reproduce: 1. Connect Base to a PostgreSQL database 2. Create a query against a table having DATE or TIME fields 3. Run the query: Everything is fine 4. Add a criteria to a field of TIME type (e.g. equal to '08:00') 5. Re-run the query. Now the field holding the TIME values seems empty 6. Save the query and close the query designer 7. Right-click the saved query and select Copy 8. Open a new spreadsheet in Calc and paste the query 9. Now all values are displayed as they should be - the TIME values are not empty anymore. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 61549] FILEOPEN impossible for particular .odg (valid ODF) saved from same version
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61549 --- Comment #6 from Michael Meeks michael.me...@novell.com --- Created attachment 76474 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=76474action=edit diff between flat odf exports So - a great technique with this kind of bug is to save as flat-odf, then you can diff -u -w between versions to see what exactly changed. I attach such a sample diff; things like: /style:style style:style style:name=P1 style:family=paragraph - style:text-properties fo:font-size=9pt style:font-size-asian=18pt style:font-size-complex=18pt/ - /style:style - style:style style:name=T1 style:family=text - style:text-properties fo:font-size=9pt style:font-size-asian=18pt style:font-size-complex=18pt/ + style:chart-properties/ /style:style + style:style style:name=T1 style:family=text/ text:list-style style:name=L1 text:list-level-style-bullet text:level=1 text:bullet-char=● style:list-level-properties/ Look rather suspicious - this is from before - after. Why are T1 and P1 much empty styles, missing fo:font-size=9 in this new export ? - most odd. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57989] EDITING: Writer TABLE does not update sum when adding or deleting row
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57989 --- Comment #10 from Siegfried p.miscellane...@gmx.net --- i think same problem here with Writer Version 4.0.1.2. under Win 7 pro 64bit: In Writer i have a calculation within a table (for ex. 4 columns), say C3*500. The result should display in D3. When i update the cell C3 and move the cursor to cell D3, i would expect, that the result updates. Instead nothing happens, untill i hit F2 when the cursor is in cell D3 to show up the formula editor (where i can see the formular C3*500) and then press enter. Pretty annoying. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
