Open the report of the attached database. There should be shown charts for the different categories. Works up to LO 4.1.6.2, fails since LO 4.2.0.0 beta2 (first version of LO 4.2 I could test here). LO 4.2 shows only empty places for the charts - no content, no axis ... It is a problem with this special charts. Could be it fails because there are month and year of dates used for this charts. When opening the report for editing there will be shown content in the chart. The same if I want to sent to a file, no file is written. Description: I make a template with writer that is connected to a database written with base from LO, it has few fields many related to name, address etc. When I click print on the template the the dialogue comes “Your document contains address database fields. Do you want to print a form letter?” and say no it prints the envelope with the data fields as text, if I say yes open the database then I select the records and print, but nothing goes to the cue. If I select files, no file is produced. To be sure that I did not have any corrupted file I just did the following: 1. I created a new database / table 2. created a new template with the corresponding data fields 3. setup the printer 4. it printed OK 5. save it as a template 6. open try to print. No printing, the print window does not pop out. So it seems after the save for some reason I lost the connection with the database although I can see the database after the form letter printing dialogue -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

On other computers we are using Libreoffice 4.1.x or 4.1.x in combination with Openoffice.org 4.1 for calc data processing, because performance of Openoffice in such operations is still better. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87027] Sheet numbering goes wrong
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87027 Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||jbfa...@libreoffice.org Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #1 from Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org --- (In reply to Pedrault from comment #0) [...] The first one is set to First page style and the second to Default style Create a footer in the second page and insert inside those fields : [Page number]/[Page count]. I always have 1/3 !! It should be 1/2 or 1/1 but not 1/3 !! Even the interface tells me that I'm editing the 3 on 3 pages. Is that normal ? Yes if the second page is blank because the text should always start on a right page (odd page). If you use the book view of your document (third icon on the left side of the zoom slider in the status bar), you will see that the second page is empty. Closing as NotABug. Please ask the French users mailing-list if you need help to manage page styles. https://fr.libreoffice.org/get-help/feedback/ Best regards. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87039] EDITING existing instances may force same letter capitalisation on new cells content
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87039 davidpbrown openfo...@davidpbrown.co.uk changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #2 from davidpbrown openfo...@davidpbrown.co.uk --- 1. Make two cells in the same column equal to a random new word e.g. dfgdfgdgdfgdfg - a word not in the dictionary. 2. Try to capitalise any one character in that string, that is not the last letter. Confirm the change. Result I see: The cells return to be both exactly the same capitalisation, instead of acknowledging the change the user was trying to make to one of them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86996] FILEOPEN: 1-1-1900 date in .xlsx and .xlsm from Excel changes when opened in LO
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86996 --- Comment #8 from Luuk luu...@gmail.com --- Thanks for the clarification! The worst thing happened when i checked this. Microsoft puts the blame for this mistake to someone else (http://spreadsheetpage.com/index.php/oddity/the_intentional_date_bug/) A primary goal of computer programming is to write bug-free code. But did you know that Excel programmers created an intentional bug? It's true. According to Excel, the year 1900 is a leap year. So if you enter the following formula, Excel won't complain, even though 29 February, 1900 is not an actual date: =DATE(1900,2,29) The reason for this error is compatibility. In the early days of personal computing, Lotus 1-2-3 was the most popular software available. Lotus programmers made the leap year mistake, and Microsoft programmers reproduced it so they could use the same date serial number scheme as 1-2-3. Therefore, the days of the week prior to 1 March, 1900 are incorrect (e.g., 28 February, 1900 is really a Wednesday, not a Tuesday as report by Excel). In actuality, this is not a big deal because Excel doesn't even support dates prior to 1 January, 1900 -- which itself is an oddity. Microsoft claims, perhaps rightfully so, that fixing the bug would create many more additional problems. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 85133] FILEOPEN: unable to open impress file when other file is open
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85133 Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Priority|medium |high CC||jmadero@gmail.com Severity|blocker |major --- Comment #5 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com --- Please DO NOT revert the changes being made - priority/severity are based on objective standards. This is not a blocker bug - we have two sample files but no way to recreate from scratch. Blocker bugs are saved for the most severe issues that will affect the majority of our users. Re-prioritizing. Major - while it prevents you from opening two files, no evidence that the issue is more widespread. High - works on one platform but not another...very weird, deserves high. If this is a regression from previous releases please let us know. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
