Reproducible with LO 4.4.1.2, Win 8.1. Problem: Some values are not updated if they are linked to another sheet and if the base value there is deleted. This does not happen if they are linked within the same sheet. It only happens if they are linked to another sheet. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open CALC 2. In Sheet 1 write in the cells A1 to A15 the numbers 1 to 15. 3. Insert a second sheet. In this Sheet 2 link the cells A1 to A15 to the corresponding cells in Sheet 1 (- =Sheet1.A1 to =Sheet1.A15). 4. Go to Sheet 1 and delete the numbers in cell A1 and A3. 5. Now go to Sheet 2 Result: In Sheet 2 you have 0 in cell A1, but still 3 in cell A3, although the 3 in cell A3 in Sheet 1 was deleted (- Bug). 6. In Sheet 1 select for instance cell A16 and A17 and copy them (Note: they are empty) to the cells A12:A13 (overwrite the entries). 7. Go to Sheet 2. Result: The cells A12 and A13 are updated correctly. 8. Save the file and reopen it. Result: Now everything is fine (updated) in Sheet 2 and cell A3 also shows 0. Alternatively, you can also open the attached file and delete there in Sheet 1 (Feuille1) the entries in cell A1 and A3. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90144] New: SIDEBAR: Addition of a image border section
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90144 Bug ID: 90144 Summary: SIDEBAR: Addition of a image border section Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: ux-advise Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: philip...@hotmail.com CC: libreoffice-ux-adv...@lists.freedesktop.org Blocks: 65138 Created attachment 114229 -- https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=114229action=edit mockup When an image is selected in other modules, a line section appears in the sidebar which allows you to add borders around it, but in writer this doesnt appear as images are treated different in writer than in other modules. So a border section needs to be added to the sidebar, which will be activated when either an image or frame is selected, similar to both frames and images sharing the same frame toolbar when selected. The sidebar section requires three controls, which can be pulled as is from the line section - width, color, style - but will manipulate the border tab in the properties dialog box. The functionality of the controls need to be tweaked so that it activates the border when any of the three controls are set. So as an example, if a user selects a color for the border, and the border style and/or width arent already set, then border style needs to be turned on to continuous and the border needs to be applied to all 4 sides at a width of 0.5pt. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90147] New: FORMATTING: Footnote numbers can be indented with bullets and numbering
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90147 Bug ID: 90147 Summary: FORMATTING: Footnote numbers can be indented with bullets and numbering Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.1.2 rc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: gordon1dr...@yahoo.com 1. New Text Document. 2. Type “test”, Return, “another test”, and Return. 3. Place cursor after “test” on first line. 4. Insert → Footnote/Endnote and accept default. 5. In footnote, type “You can have a numbered list in a footnote:” and Return. 6. Still in footnote, type “test”, Return, and “test 2”. 7. Select “test” and “test 2”. 8. Numbering On from toolbar. 9. Place cursor after “test” on second line. 10. Insert → Footnote/Endnote and accept default. 11. In footnote, type “But the first line of this footnote was included in the selection when converting to a numbered list:” and Return. 12. Still in footnote, type “another test”, Return, and “another test 2”. 13. Select all three lines in second footnote. 14. Numbering On from toolbar. Note: Numbering continues on from last footnote and includes the second footnote number as if it is number 3. Footnote number is okay but indented. 15. Place cursor on first line of second footnote. 16. Numbering Off from toolbar. Note: Footnote number is no longer indented. Numbering continues on from last footnote. Result: If the user is not paying attention then they could find themselves in a muddle. It is also possible to Move Up one of the numbered items from one footnote to another. 1. Place cursor in second footnote in first numbered item--”another test”. 2. Click Move Up from toolbar. At this point you can use Move Down, but if you start in the first footnote and place the cursor in the last numbered item, then Move Down doesn't do anything. Summary: In a footnote, it is not possible to have a numbered list starting on the first line. Doing so indents the footnote number. Footnotes be thinking they special and have boundaries, but bullets and numbering be like, you ain't all that, you're still one of us. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53717 Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED CC||jbfa...@libreoffice.org Resolution|--- |NOTOURBUG --- Comment #3 from Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org --- Several points here: 1/ how do you check that your EPS file has transparent background? 2/ what you see in the LibreOffice and what is exported to PDF is the preview of the EPS. As your EPS does not include a preview (raster image), it is generated on the fly by LibreOffice using an external program if available (ghostscript under Linux). Not sure if this program has the capability to generate a preview with transparency. That said, in the cases where transparency background is important, you should use SVG format instead of EPS. Your test file shows that it works as expected with SVG. So if there is a bug it is not a bug in LibreOffice. So closing as NotOurBug. Please, feel free to reopen if you disagree. Best regards. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90090] Rearranging the UI of Draw
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90090 Jay Philips philip...@hotmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||c...@nouenoff.nl, ||heiko.tie...@user-prompt.co ||m --- Comment #11 from Jay Philips philip...@hotmail.com --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #10) If we think of using Draw to prepare illustrations/graphics for use in other ODF documents, the Portrait orientation of the page/graphic is not optimal. I'm of the opinion that each app/module is an independent piece and documents created in one can be placed in others, but i'd assume we dont make changes based on this possibility. It is possible for me to create the same illustrations in Impress that can be created in Draw because they are from the same code base. It is also possible for me to create similar illustrations in Writer and Calc, with the exception of not being able to have connectors. Practical truth is that most illustrations/graphics being prepared in Draw would benefit from a smaller default page/graphic size--either square as an Icon, or in Landscape mode. Proportioned to better place onto a document page as an OLE. Likewise for a illustration/graphic being prepared to place into an Impress presentation--Landscape graphics are more often needed than Portrait. With a square or landscape mode, how would turn out on a print out. Providing a cleaner UI (Sidebar content panel, and maybe tweak the context menu) to resize and orient the page/graphic size will help with that. Yes the most ideal thing is to have the sidebar page tab accessible so users can make the necessary changes they need. Defaulting to Landscape would provide better UX by requiring less fuss at the start of the drawing session. There will always be fuss at the starting of any drawing session (this happens to me in inkscape or gimp) to set the most optimal page size for whatever one is working on. @Heiko, Cor: What is your take on this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Marking as: Minor - there is a workaround (see last comment). It can slow down professional quality work but will not prevent it. Critical is reserved for major crashes and serious data loss - this is neither. I'll leave as highest and leave it on MAB list. Please do not revert my changes. What would be nice is for those seeing this issue to test older releases to see if it's a regression. http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ Best thing to do is to test 3.3 - if it's present in 3.3 then it's not a regression (please leave a comment). If it isn't present in 3.3, then start testing every release (3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 4.0, etc...) to try to narrow where the bug came in. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Thanks for the important remark to Step 3. I selected it only with the mouse cursor, but now I can confirm it. Thank you. Actually, I think it should have a Blocker status too, because the presentation mode is a core function of IMPRESS and if it does not work it is a broken core function (see Bug Priority Triage Flowchart)- Simple test to reproduce: 1. Open IMPRESS 2. In a new presentation write any word 3. Start the presentation Result: Empty white screen. 4. With the mouse scroll down to get to the end of the presentation and then scroll back up Result: Text is visible. in 4.4.2.1 is not reproduced Version: 4.4.2.1 ID build: 93fc8832889bf050a10ec6d0171dae213adc9b55 Locale: ru_RU OS: Windows 7 HB x86 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90141 --- Comment #4 from Matthew Francis fdb...@neosheffield.co.uk --- (In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #3) Matthew: since I could reproduce this with LO Debian package 4.3.2, it means it has been fixed but, because of idle work, could be a regression? Oh, that's fascinating. It does crash after a while. I should re-check - maybe the idle/timer changes just speeded up the existing crash ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
