The RTF being generated for the link seems to be mal-formed, with many extra closing braces in the middle: \par \pard\plain \s0\nowidctlpar{\*\hyphen2\hyphlead2\hyphtrail2\hyphmax0}\cf0\kerning1\dbch\af5\langfe2052\dbch\af6\afs24\alang1081\loch\f3\fs24\lang1033{{\field{\*\fldinst HYPERLINK http://testlink/; }{\fldrslt {\cf2\ul\ulc0\langfe255\alang255\lang255\rtlch \ltrch\loch http://testlink/}{}}{\field{\*\fldinst HYPERLINK }{\fldrslt {\rtlch \ltrch\loch } \par \pard\plain \s0\nowidctlpar{\*\hyphen2\hyphlead2\hyphtrail2\hyphmax0}\cf0\kerning1\dbch\af5\langfe2052\dbch\af6\afs24\alang1081\loch\f3\fs24\lang1033\rtlch \ltrch\loch I'm marking this as 'major' only because of the apparent effect: after typing a long document and saving several backup copies, I then closed and later reopened them only to find, in this particular case, that most of the document appeared to be missing, in every backup I made, too. Not a pleasant surprise if you were someone or their grandpa, who might not know to look at the RTF in a text editor to troubleshoot. The color is DarkShadowColor, ShadowColor is more light if this one is too dark. When it is selected it uses the same as before (bluish color). Great, so the selected mode is DE controlled? I increased the border to 12 but that's probably too much (I will probably just scale the width for HiDPI). OK, guess it could end up looking odd if too wide, since the handle sits within the 6px border. But adding few more pixels to get a clean edge and well formed triangle should be fine. From an aesthetics view, having just a single triangle in this flat view seems a bit off--and also is what Kingsoft has adopted. It points into the Sidebar deck when open, or pointing into the document canvas when closed to the edge. It might be more appealing to use four triangles, or maybe only two but place a square between them, just for something a bit more artistic. And of course will need the inverse for the other position of the Show/Hide pair. And those assignments reverses when Sidebar is moved to dock left side. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90425] New: UI: changing styles don't activate UNDO toolbar button
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90425 Bug ID: 90425 Summary: UI: changing styles don't activate UNDO toolbar button Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.2.2 rc Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: low Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com If the first action in a new document is modifications to styles, then toolbar's UNDO button is not activated (until another kind of edit is made). Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new Writer document 2. As the first edit, modify styles: 2.1. Page style: menu Format-Page-Page tab-Orientation-toggle Landscape-OK (this modifies Default Style, and makes immediate visible on-screen result). 2.2. List style: Sidebar-Styles and Formatting-List Styles-right-click Numbering 1-Modify...-Options-Number-A, B, C, ...-OK. 2.3. Frame style: Sidebar-Styles and Formatting-Frame Styles-right-click Frame-Modify...-Wrap-Spacing-modify a spacing-OK. 2.4. Character style: Sidebar-Styles and Formatting-Character Styles-right-click Numbering Symbols (because Default style is not editable)-Modify...-Font-select another font-OK. 2.5. Paragraph style: Sidebar-Styles and Formatting-Paragraph Styles-right-click any currently unselected style (in my case, Default Style is selected, so I tested Caption)-Modify...-Font-select another font-OK. Expected result: after any of these actions, UNDO toolbar button should be activated. Actual result: UNDO button stays inactive. The menu Edit-Undo is, however, properly activated, and Ctrl+Z works properly regardless of the toolbar button state. Also, making edits to document, as well as modifying active paragraph style, activates the button, and all the previous style edits are then listed in the button's drop-down list. It is of a very low impact, as easy workarounds are available, and the problem doesn't prevent any work. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58358] VIEWING Scrolling broken - page totally distorted
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58358 --- Comment #42 from John L. ten Wolde john...@telus.net --- While I know most if not all you Ubuntu users will be working with Gnome as your DE, back on 2013-09-06 I filed bug 69011 in which I explain how to induce and reverse corrupted rendering similar, if not identical to this, in KDE. The TLDR of it is that, within KDE, activating font hinting and sub-pixel rendering at the desktop level completely bollixes LO's ability to correctly render its screens (including the help facility). Disabling said features entirely mitigates the problem. This is completely irrespective of the Hardware Acceleration, Anti Aliasing, and Smooth Scrolling settings (as per bug 60537 comment 2) within LO itself, which have no affect on this (mis)behaviour whatsoever. Not sure how to disable sub-pixel rendering and font hinting in Gnome, but maybe give that a shot. If anything, it might narrow down whether what I observe on my machines is a bug within just LO or all KDE (LO is the only adversely affected program I've seen to date). I've confirmed this on three x86 and x86_64 rigs equipped either with nVidia (proprietary and nouveau drivers) or Radeon (FOSS only drivers) running Mageia 4; KDE 4.12.5; with LO up to 4.4.1.2 release. We have attached one of these .doc files and also include screenshots on how the files look on both MS WOrd as well as on LibO. Table formatting seems to be a rather serious issue on LibO. Unfortunately, examining the other bugs listed here I can not really tell if this one is a duplicate or not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84521] EDITING: Converting text with spaces to polygon/curve/contour results in duplicated characters
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84521 Matthew Francis fdb...@neosheffield.co.uk changed: What|Removed |Added CC||pell...@gmail.com --- Comment #15 from Matthew Francis fdb...@neosheffield.co.uk --- Adding Cc: to pell...@gmail.com Hi - you recently did some work in bug 81876 which affected this bug (commit 162f11cdb94b415ff9d58674e94fb01a745a69eb et al). Is there any chance you could take a look at this one too? Attachment 114554 and attachment 114555 show a before and after comparison of the effects of your commit. Before it looks like a correct rendering and a narrow rendering are overlaid on one another, whereas after there is only one rendering left - but unfortunately it's the narrow one. Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90409] New: [ssl] libreoffice core dumps because of network content
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90409 Bug ID: 90409 Summary: [ssl] libreoffice core dumps because of network content Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.3.5.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: OpenBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ji...@devio.us (originally reported at OpenBSD ports mailing list - http://marc.info/?t=14279360991r=1w=2) I have an user with old libreoffice config directory and when I tried to open one document it core dumped. Later I discovered it is not related to old config dir but to the document itself and Internet networking part of LO. The document has probably embedded some Internet stuff as I see following output when started (soffice) from terminal. Versions: * libreoffice-4.3.5.2p0v0-debug-no_java (my rebuild to get debug symbols) * OpenBSD 5.7-current (GENERIC.MP) #895: Wed Mar 18 18:55:03 MDT 2015 Seems like problematic document is a text copied from a HTML page with links inside and saved as doc document. Reproduce steps were tricky: 1. problematic document 2. open soffice and open the file == fail 1. problematic document 2. open soffice and check Internet in preferences, save 3. open the file == fail 1. problematic document 2. open soffice and _define_ proxy in Internet in preferences, save 3. open the file == success :) It passed in last one because it cannot connect to proxy server (yeah, it was fake). ~~~ ...
