[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 45550] FILESAVE: turning of text / objects not retained when saving as ppt or pptx
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45550 --- Comment #11 from Oliver--- The problem is still there : I have followed the original instructions, but additionally I have also turned texte and shape by 45 degrees and also by 180 degrees (that is upside down. The results are as following : * saving adn reopening wiht odp : all stays the same * saving as ppt and reopening with Libreoffice : the text turned 90° is now upside down, the shape with text turned 90° is correct; Text and shape turned 45° are correct; text and shape upside down are correct * saving as pptx and reopening in Libreoffice : 90° and 45° turned text and shape with text are OK, text and shape with text upside down are still upside down, but not at the correct position but shifted to the right So for some reason it depends on how much a text / shape with text is turned to get a change when saving as ppt or pptx. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103693 --- Comment #8 from haim kilov--- "So I think the "export comments" option in the PDF-export causes some confusion and might be renamed." I completely agree. This is an example of feature interaction... I think that enabled "print comments in margin" in preferences takes care of the need to correctly export comments in PDF; and that the rectangles in this case are not needed at all. Thus, if "print comments in margin" is enabled in preferences there is no need even to look at the corresponding option in the PDF export options: it has already been properly set. Therefore I think that in this case such an option should not be available. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103614 Aron Budeachanged: What|Removed |Added Blocks||93529 --- Comment #13 from Aron Budea --- Great, now we know the issue is caused by OpenGL acceleration. Having it turned off should be absolutely fine, the only drawback is slower UI if there are many and/or large images in the document. That might actually be relevant, but you can judge if it's significantly slower for you now, or workable. There are two additional steps that would be interesting: -as there aren't going to be further updates to version 5.1, test in 5.2 (5.2.3 is the current release at the moment) to see if the bug is still there, -if the issue still occurs, the wiki page mentions an /cache/opengl_device.log file containing information on the graphics device, attaching it to the bug report could help us finding an environment where the bug is reproducible. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103786] Knowing the product version via Registry query
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103786 V Stuart Footechanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote --- Your interest is of course Windows and working against the MS Windows Registry data. The project instead works with our internal build IDs (an SHA1 HASH of the last commit checked out for the build). The update listing accessed via CURL processed PHP is maintained here: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/website/tree/check.php?h=update And, in the LibreOffice installation directory buildID is recorded in the program/version.ini or resources/versionrc file =-=-= So, for your interest you do not need to know version or GUID to query the installation in Windows registry. Issue from the command window: For native 32-bit or 64-bit reg query "HKLM\Software\The Document Foundation\LibreOffice" /s /v ProductVersion For 32-bit run via WOW6432Node reg query "HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\The Document Foundation\LibreOffice" /s /v ProductVersion You'll see returns for two GUID, the "UpgradeCode" {4B17E523-5D91-4E69-BD96-7FD81CFA81BB} code, which the project has been holding fixed. And the GUID for the installed "Product Code", which will have an entry in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall key. Alternatively this can be done from a PowerShell session: Issue PS command: gwmi win32_product -filter "vendor='The Document Foundation'" Here you'll see just the MSI ProductID GUID as the IdentifyingNumber Easy to script either way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103793 Bug ID: 103793 Summary: FORMATTING: Conditional formatting doesn't respect category of number-format. Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.6.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: cyanmyst...@gmx.net Created attachment 128591 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=128591=edit Demo file, created following the descripted steps. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new spreadsheet. 2. Create a new style (e.g. named "asCurrency"). On tab "numbers" choose "currency" as category. Further choose a background-color. 3. Create a new style (e.g. named "asDate"). On tab "numbers" choose "date" as category. 4. Open the dialog for conditional formatting for cell A1. 5. Create a condition with the formula $A$2="D" and link it to the style "asDate". 6. Create a condition with the formula $A$2<>"D" and link it to the style "asCurrency". 7. Write a date to cell A1 (e.g. 4.3.). 8. Write "D" to cell A2. Result: Switching between to the two examined conditions effects the background-color, but not the numbers->category. It seems impossible to get a currency format through changing A1 and A2 values in this state. The value is always either viewed as date or as plain number. Expected: The condition NOT "D" in cell A2 should influence A1s format, including its numbers->category. In this case A1s value should appear as currency (e.g. 42.433,00 € instead of 04.03.2016). Variant: Sometimes it's just the other way around so that the date-format won't appear. Attempting to define a service for SSH or Windows Shares access to local network server fails in KDE Frameworks 5.27. This effectively prevents any meaning use or 'save as' of a libreoffice document to local network locations. Additionally, attempting to save as Network causes a race condition causing soffice-bin to take 100% of the CPU while the 'save as' dialog is open. I'm just > trying to nail this down a bit more as at the moment, it is hard to figure > out whether the CoreGraphics code problems you are seeing are related to one > or the other or both devices. Sorry, I haven't had time to follow up on this yet (bit stressful time of the year for us). Coincidentally I have been only using LibreOffice on the Cintiq display (the way my workplace is set up this is my primary display) or at least I can't precisely remember if I have seen it happen on the other monitor as well. I'll see if I can trigger the bug on either with the other one disconnected. Just to be clear the bug was triggered using a 'normal' bluetooth touchpad, not via touch interaction. I'll be working more on our spreadsheets in the next week or so (hooray for bimonthly tax reports), that should give me sufficient testing time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94812] Form Edit find does not bring up a dialog box
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94812 --- Comment #4 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de --- Could confirm the behavior is already there (LO 5.3.0.0alpha1). But don't know, what you will look for in a database-form with "Find". If you create an external form in Writer you could activate "Find" - but it doesn't have a look for any content in a formcontrol. There are other functions to search through the content of a table, which is linked to the form. "Find" doesn't work there. It would be better to show this function is disabled in a form.
