This is what I have seen when I disabled OpenGL. BTW if you have any problem
about this font you can contact the author: http://ccamc.co/introduction.php

OK, it works for me after I open the file with LODev 5.4.0 alpha0, and I
enabled OpenGL. But the initial characters always clipped, and when I disabled
OpenGL, they are sideways.

To get better effect, I got Tangut N4694 font from comment 26.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104766] FILESAVE is apparently arbitrary for database table information changes and saves.

Thanks for the reply Alex. Here's my problem...

If I could reproduce the exact same situation and/or error reliably then I
would have included the information. I said arbitrarily because it appears to
be arbitrary. I can save the database, close it, reopen it, and get apparently
random changes where some tables that had an autonumber field turned on would
now have it turned off. There's no way to tell without reopening every single
table, which I did more than once to verify that it was indeed happening with
no pattern that I could discern. In every case two or more tables would have
the autonumber switch wrong AND on some tables the descriptions that had been
entered previously were simply gone.

I already ran into the copy/paste problem, but that was already reported so I
didn't mention it. You can consider it confirmed if you wish. Given the
situation, I didn't think previous bug reports applied to the situation, thus
the new submit.

It has happened with the same database on two different computers (Win7 and
Win8.1). It has happened multiple times on each. I can't reproduce the same
errors in the same tables every time, or I would have said so. However, every
single time I save and close and go back in, some of the tables will be wrong.
It is either resetting/changing the entries (autonumber), not saving the
entries (descriptions or autonumber possibly), or deleting the entries
(description). Sometimes it is recent changes and sometimes it happens in
tables that were changed several saves previously.

So, quite frankly, I assumed the problems were related. My error. My first
guess would be that there is a serious memory problem. Second guess is that
there is a hard limit on the amount of metainformation like table element
descriptive entries and when that is reached, it just starts doing random crap.
Or some combination. Either way, for me it isn't usable so I quit using it.
I could live with retyping rather than copy/paste, but losing and/or changing
information that was saved with no error message is a whole different problem.

Hi Luke,
There're different errors depending on the document so what I've done is to
create a bug for each different error. See meta bug 104787. So I believe it's
fair to close this as a duplicate of that meta bug

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104800] New: [Windows 10 LO 5.2.3.3 x64] Unlabeled application in " Choose App" dialog

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104800

Bug ID: 104800
Summary: [Windows 10 LO 5.2.3.3 x64] Unlabeled application in
"Choose App" dialog
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ken.chapp...@outlook.com

Description:
In Windows 10, if I navigate to "Settings\System\Default apps" and click to
choose a default Photo app, a dialog pops up with a couple of choices. LO Draw
is one of the options, but it shows up unlabeled (meaning, just the icon shows
up). This isn't a big deal but it looks sloppy. Fixing it would be nice.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Libreoffice
2. Try to pick a default Photo app
3. LO Draw pops up unlabeled

Actual Results:
As mentioned above, LO Draw pops up unlabeled.

Expected Results:
LO Draw would pop up as a labeled option.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104799] New: UI: Styles dropdown colors unreadable with GNOME dark theme

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104799

Bug ID: 104799
Summary: UI: Styles dropdown colors unreadable with GNOME dark
theme
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dara...@dagron.net

Description:
Using the Dark Theme for GNOME desktop on Fedora 25. The Styles dropdown in
both the top left and the properties side panel is not readable due to color
issues. With the dark theme set for GNOME, the styles dropdown is very dark
gray background with black text and is unreadable. This same problem exists in
the insert table dropdown.

I think this is a bug in LibreOffice and not GNOME because the fonts dropdowns
look perfect with the GNOME dark theme.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set GNOME to dark theme (I used GNOME tweak tool)
2.Open LibreOffice Writer
3.Click the dropdown for styles (colors make this menu unreadable)
4.Click the dropdown for fonts (colors make this menu easily readable)

Actual Results:
The dropdown is very dark gray with black text.

Expected Results:
The dropdown should be dark gray with whiteish text.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML,

I want to add that, even though this is most obvious in LO Writer, this quirk
is replicated for multiple programs within the Libreoffice Suite.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104798] New: Autocorrect cannot be set to two (or more) languages in one document

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104798

Bug ID: 104798
Summary: Autocorrect cannot be set to two (or more) languages
in one document
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mboles...@email.com

Description:
In the AutoCorrect in Options cannot been set a language different from Locale
Settings (Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Languages -> Locale
Setting), therefore English/Czech quotes (which are not the same) do not work
properly. In the AutoCorrect settings is particular Locale Settings language
greyed and cannot be changed.
I have documents with texts in two languages and need the AutoCorrect working
correctly in the particular texts and languages by simply putting a cursor in
the text.
This bug was confirmed to me by other users of LO too.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set language of the Character different from the one set in Locale.
2. Go to Format, AutoCorrect, AutoCorrect Options, Options.
3. The Language is grey and cannot be changed - and doesn't change even if the
cursor is placed into a text in different language.

Actual Results:
In the text, AutoCorrect changes quotes according to the locale settings
regardless the language set in Character.

Expected Results:
AutoCorrect language should be set simply by putting a cursor in the particular
text.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes.

Create the pivot table on the same sheet it's as simple as when on the pivot
table loyout, selecting source and adding destination range on selection.

The same can be do it to move the pivot table.

A workaround to copy the pivot table is copying the sheet to a new one, move
the pivot table and delete the last created temporal sheet.

So only copy the pivot table in a direct way is not implemented.

Again, this is not caused by the identified patch, but is exactly the same as
in its parent bug 96751.

That bug happens like that: when its bugdoc is open, the image in it has wrong
wrap contour, and thus is placed incorrectly. The wrong placement happens to
avoid a bug with layout looping. But when user manually fixes the contour
problem (by turning off wrapping), and image is trying to go to proper place,
the layout loop happens.

Now that the image wrap contour import was fixed, it is imported correctly from
the start, so the loop fires immediately. So, this isn't a new bug and not a
regression, but just change in time of occurrence of original bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104797] New: FILEOPEN [DOCX filter]: track changes move of string not parsed

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104797

Bug ID: 104797
Summary: FILEOPEN [DOCX filter]: track changes move of string
not parsed
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: filters and storage
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: documentfoundat...@rubenvandeven.com

Description:
The track changes feature seems not to pick up on the moveFrom and moveTo
change in a docx document. More problamatically: it shows the text at both the
original position, as well as the new position. Without marking either as a
change.

This is apparently a feature introduced in Word 2007: "In Word 2007 there are
almost no changes to the "track changes" feature with the exception of move
tracking: Word displays moved sentences/paragraphs differently from
deleted/pasted ones." - https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Track_changes

Unfortunately I don't have Word to reproduce it, so I'd suggest it can be two
things:
- This is not implemented in the filter
- In my case it was not picked up, because the moveTo position contains other
tracked changes (please see the additional information)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a docx document that has tracked changes of a _movement_ of a text
string
2. See that the string is displayed at both the original position, as well as
the new position.

Actual Results:
Moved sentence. Text after first sentence. Moved sentence.

Expected Results:
Text after first sentence. Moved sentence.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
In the docx file I found (document.xml):
(seemingly) relevant bits in the docx file (document.xml):

It is unclear what is being
measured.

and later

It is unclear
wWhat is being measured thus remains unclear.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104793] New: "Unknown application" visual bug in Windows 10 " set default file handler" application interface

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104793

Bug ID: 104793
Summary: "Unknown application" visual bug in Windows 10 "set
default file handler" application interface
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ken.chapp...@outlook.com

Description:
Windows 10's default "set default file handler" application interface does not
list Libreoffice Writer as an option for doc/docx and other Microsoft Word
formats. Libreoffice Writer opens the programs fine - it's just that, for some
reason, Writer isn't properly registering itself in a way that ensures ui
consistency.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install LO 5.2.3, set LO as default for all MS Office file types within the
installer
2. Go to "Control Panel\Default Programs" and click Set Default Programs. Find
Libreoffice 5.2, and check the .docx file association.
3. Under the "Current Default" header for .doc/.docx and similar files, the
program presented should be Libreoffice Writer. Instead, it reads "Unknown
Application"

Actual Results:
As mentioned above, under the "Current Default" header for .doc/.docx and
similar files, the program presented should be Libreoffice Writer. Instead, it
reads "Unknown Application"

Expected Results:
Libreoffice Writer should display as the default program for those file
extensions.

Reproducible: Always

I tried lode, even putted it's in beginning of path env. variable. This build
result is from it, exactly same issue. I'm not sure how to make sure the
problem is not in brew, maybe I should reset path variable. Nevertheless I
think homebrew should be support since it's very popular in macOS dev
community.

I forgot to mention the CPU drain. Hovering a bit around over the toolbar
consumes between 3-5% CPU power. Same can be set for hovering a bit around in
the deck. Switching hovering between deck and toolbar generates a CPU usage
around 5% for brief moment.

I did that and, while creating a new base, still get the message:

"The connection to the data source "New Database22" could not be established.

The connection to the external source could not be established. No SBDC driver
was found for the URL 'sdbc:embedded:hsqldb'."

My response to that, honed over the past several days, is to quit LO base.
Then, reopen LO home, LibreOffice>Preferences>Advanced, check the "Use a Java
runtime environment.", mark "Oracle Corporation 1.8.0_111", and "OK". I then
Quit LO and start anew to create a new base.

Now we have:

"LibreOffice Document Recovery

Due to an unexpected error, LibreOffice crashed. All the files you were
working on will now be saved. The next time LibreOffice is launched, your
files will be recovered automatically.

The following files will be recovered:"

I "OK".

Response is:

"LibreOffice Document Recovery

Press 'Start Recovery' to start the recovery process of the documents listed

Press 'Discard Recovery Data' to abandon attempting recovery of these

The 'Status' column shows whether the document can be recovered.

On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 5.2.4.1, I don't reproduce this.

Could you give a try to last stable LO version 5.2.3?
If you still reproduce this, try to apply the advice from
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps

Xisco: if you give a try with a build containing
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=b052b5d890be70dd22b9aea36a356074a2c39871,
perhaps you'll get my bt.
(I gave a new try with a build containing it, I still reproduce the same bt I
had attached)

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104543] soffice.bin wants to install fonts Central Khmer and Burmese

2016-12-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104543

Although adding backports creates a whole new challenge (175 packages
recommended to upgrade) I've avoided breaking my system this week, and only
installed the parts of libreoffice I use (calc, draw, writer, pdf), since trying
to install _libreoffice_ recommended 55 packages it depends on (45 of which are
java related...and not wanted)
I can now say this is a solution. Problem fixed.
This path won't determine what got messed up in the build I reported on,
requiring fonts not english... but I guess I'll let it go.
