https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107996 Bug ID: 107996 Summary: FORMATTING: Watermark feature in page style dialog Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: thomas.le...@gmail.com Currently Szymon Kłos is implementing an elementary form of a watermark feature that is available in the TSCP classification toolbar (bug 88774). I don't know how this feature should be available for a broader user base in the future. But beside a classification and printing/export feature (e.g. bug 54053), how's about the idea of implementing the watermark feature into page styles as an own tab. It could also be accessible via toolbar/sidebar/notebookbar which can open the watermark tab of the page style dialog. I haven't found anything about watermarking in the ODF specification (beside a transparent/pale discussion for draw objects). Would such a feature possible according to ODF? Is a watermarking feature even desired in the page dialog? As far as I remember in Word for example it's not only a print/export feature. People want to save a watermarking information into the document itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107994] New: UI: Make Ctrl+Home move the cursor to the first non-frozen cell in the sheet
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107994 Bug ID: 107994 Summary: UI: Make Ctrl+Home move the cursor to the first non-frozen cell in the sheet Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.3.3.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: benoit.thebaudeau@gmail.com Description: The Ctrl+Home shortcut currently moves the cursor to the first cell in the sheet (A1). However, if some rows or columns are frozen to be used as headers, this behavior is not intuitive. One would rather expect the cursor to be moved to the beginning of the active area, i.e. to the first non-frozen cell, which is what Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets do. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new spreadsheet. 2. Freeze the first row and column. 3. Press Ctrl+Home. Actual Results: The cursor is moved to A1. Expected Results: The cursor should be moved to B2. However, the preview in the format dialog is correct. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new spreadsheet. 2. Enter 1000 in a cell. 3. Open the cell format dialog for this cell. 4. Apply the following format code to the cell, which should left-align the sign in the cell and use a blank as a thousands separator (Calc set up for French): +* # ##0;-* # ##0 Actual Results: The preview displays [+1 000] as expected, but [+1 000] is actually displayed in the cell. The square brackets represent the left and right borders of the cell. With 999, [+ 999] is displayed in both the preview and the cell as expected. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106526] UI 4k Slide Presentation screen causes crash for x86, messed up for x64
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106526 V Stuart Footechanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||caol...@redhat.com, ||michael.me...@collabora.com ||, t...@iki.fi See Also||https://bugs.documentfounda ||tion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10 ||7090 Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #15 from V Stuart Foote --- OK confirming, now have an external 4K monitor to test against (Samsung MU6300 40"). With 5.3.3.2 running on Windows 10 Home on a Lenovo Ideapad FLEX4 w/Intel i7-7500 and Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU -- native display panel is 1920x1080 at ~141 PPI HDMI connection to the external defaults to duplicate of the 1920x1080. Setting the Windows Display Settings shows the desktop mirrored with content scaled 300%. A presentation in mirrored mode displays scaled on the 4K and the 1080p display panel--the 4K a bit pixelated. Using Windows Display settings set "Extend these displays"; and set LO Impress -> Slide Show -> Slide Show Settings: Multiple Displays Presentation Display drop list from default Auto -> Display 2 (external); and run presentation. The slides display, but are notably pixelated from scaling applied (by Windows). Again with Windows Display Settings, set the 4K display to scale at 100%, and repeat. This works correctly with OpenGL rendering, and also with CPU only rendering: presentation to external 4K is clear and crisp at full 4K resolution as driven by the Intel GPU But with "Use Hardware acceleration": the presentation rendered to 4K display is garbled as OP reports. Use OpenGL or CPU only rendering and Presentation mode is correctly rendered. Also, I had the same result on a MS Surface Pro 4 (Intel i7-6650DU w/Iris Graphics 540) 2736x1824 at ~267 PPI with LO 5.1.1.3; presentation mode renders garbled with "Use hardware acceleration" but is correct for OpenGL rendering, or CPU only rendering. So this seems to be related to the later introduced font rendering issues of see also bug 107090 (at 5.3), and this behavior of the non-OpenGL hardware acceleration of the Presentation canvas is a LO issue--at least on Windows builds. Curious if folks with HiDPI under Linux builds are having the same issues? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106975] Download Link is not Localised
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106975 Johnny_Mchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||kla...@partyheld.de --- Comment #3 from Johnny_M --- The www.libreoffice.org is the English-language domain. The localized ones are the de.libreoffice.org, it.libreoffice.org, etc., which also appear first on a respective localized search (Google). So, the issue is the lack of an automatic re-direct to the locale-specific sub-domain? I'm not sure if that's an issue though. I personally prefer to be able to control the display language myself (e.g., when browsing on someone else's PC). Maybe a language (e.g., via a flag icon) selector could be added to the website for those who accidentally end up on the wrong locale sub-domain (e.g., browsing on someone else's PC as well)? Anyway, since this affects the infrastructure, not LO itself, it's something for the Redmine (https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/), not Bugzilla. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
