I'll look into this once home from the conference.

I have seen such when I accidentally made some holes on the translation
handling code and it was unable to match a color name with a translation in
method SvxUnoConvertResourceStringBuiltIn :

But no idea why does it happen only for some languages and not others.

• LibreOffice :Version: 5.4.2.2

CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; 
Locale: ja-JP (ja_JP.UTF-8); Calc: group

The « Save as » is working normally and the issue doesn’t occur. I recommend
you to try the last fresh version of LibreOffice.

It's right the option of copy/paste a comment doesn't exist. Moreover, when I
select only the comment box, the copy/paste exist on the context menu but

LibreOffice help was not working saying that ""The Offline Helps have not been
installed".

but after the following steps it worked

1. Download LibreOffice Built in help in English (US), Help for offline use.
2. install it
3. restart LibreOffice

eyallior: try 5.2 from the below link[1]. Simply download it, set the
executable attribute[2] and run. If it is broken, please retest 5.1[3] on your

3.Switch to sheet "Sheet2"
4.Select any Cell in Sheet, then click function wizard
5.Choose any function, for example ABS, then click "Next >>" button.
6.Click "Select" button right at Number textbox
7.Choose a range in Sheet1

Actual Results:  
In select Dialog, show "$Sheet1.A1:A19"

Expected Results:

When using the Navigator in LibreOffice Writer, to try to drag tables from one
document to another, LibreOffice lists three drag modes: "Insert as Hyperlink,"
"Insert as Link," or "Insert as Copy."

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a writer document with a table. (I was trying to repair one table but
got the same bug with other tables.)
2. Open the navigator.
3. Create a new writer document.
4. Right-click in the Nav and set the "Drag Mode" settings in the source
document to "Insert as Copy."
5. Drag and drop from the Nav to the new writer document.

Actual Results:  
>From one document, I get a link instead of the table.

>From another document, I get a file path on my computer, without a link.

Expected Results:
I would expect to get the selected table.

I have encountered the bug, as described, in LibreOffice 5.4.0.3.

I have encountered a similar bug in NeoOffice, an OpenOffice derivative. I get
a gray box instead of the table, or instead of a hyperlink, but get a link if I
select the link option. This suggests a common origin in OpenOffice.

Not sure about the cursor size, there is a point in basing it on line height as
the alternative (text bounding box) would mean cursor size changes according to
characters in the font which is not good.

Clipping, on the other hand, should always use the text bounding box IMHO.

As the page is white, i usually add a thin gray border around an image which
doesnt have dark pixels around its borders, so i know its size. Also the
sidebar is only useful for sidebar users, not toolbar or notebookbar users.

There are alot of various bugs within this single file that need to be fixed in
order for this to be completely resolved, but the biggest issue seems to be the
wrong positioning of images/ole, textboxes/frames and shapes within the page's
two columns, which bug 85994 is intending to fix.

Different Tab Layouts in LibreOffice

Attached is a presentation about some dialogs from writer.

As you can see in most dialogues there is no "padding" between the text and the
tab. If you have a look at the Paragraph Style Dialog (menubar -> style -> edit
style)there is a padding (page 11 on windows 7 page 12 on gtk and page 13 on
kde).

So it look way better in the Paragraph Style Dialog in addition as the tabs
have a bit more wide, they are easier to click by mouse.

I'm 100% in favor that LibreOffice should use the OS theme but also the
Paragraph Style dialog use the OS theme, and as you can see on page 11 to 13
they look good in all OS themes, not only GTK3.

1. open attachment 83389
2. notice the font is set to the default CTL font (for me it was Lucida Sans)
instead of Orkun
3. move cursor to the beginning of the '(1)' line and notice the font hasnt
changed instead of being Helvetica
4. move cursor next to any colon and font hasnt changed instead of being
Helvetica

Regression as this was imported correctly with the old 3.3 rtf importer. LO 3.5
and 3.6 wouldnt import any of the RTL text, though it did correctly import the
non-RTL text as Helvetica.

I wish this option as well, mainly in LibreOffice Base. It would be good to
organize tables, queries, forms and reports with tabs instead of windows.

In a normal workflow, it's common to have a lot of windows open. I know I can
switch between them using Alt+Tab. However, using Ctrl+Tab would be even
better.

What I always liked from Access is the only window showing all the content
organized with tabs. One program, one window. And then switch between them
using Ctrl+Tab or the mouse.

Is it difficult to implement?

Hello!

I was inserting some emojis from the autocorrect list and, when I copied them
and pasted in Firefox's 56 search box, they appeared with a higher quality and
used colours.

A few months ago I also noticed in my Webmail that emojis appeared with
colours.

Could the developers enhance LO code so that we could get full colour + full
quality in them?

It would be better to remove the functionality from the GUI rather than have
people wrong-footed when they're actually giving their presentation and it
doesn't work as expected.

The overlapping characters is clearly a regression introduce in the 5.4 cycle.
The close Heh and Ain characters varied in 5.3 and 5.4 based on whether it is
in a numbered list or not, 5.3 but in my tests never was as close as in
attachment 136815. Tested on Linux Mint 18.0.

There is something seriously wrong with how moderators call everything an
"enhancement."  Yes, fixing a bug is definitely an enhancement.  This bug is a
bug.  Please fix it.  Copying a comment should simply copy a comment, and not
clobber other stuff.  The comment is orthogonal to the contents of the cell. 
Just because that is what it does now does not make it rational or right, no
matter how many warnings the user is given.

The "Use Hardware acceleration" and "Use OpenGL for all rendering" are mutually
exclusive. Enabling one will disable the other (a UI glitch if the HA button
shows checked when OpenGL is enabled).

So, it is working for you with OpenGL rendering, and also when HA is disabled
(so just CPU rendering.

Thats a duplicate of bug 107090 -- poor quality rendering of the presentation
canvas (bad lettering, and color artifacts like this).

Reverted in 5.3.7.1, and the 5.4.3.1 build as well as in current master.

I went back to 5.3.6.1.  Turning off "Use hardware acceleration" there fixed
the problem.  Turning off "Use OpenGL" did not.

So i checked MS Word 2013 and if I change my keyboard language from arabic to
english before typing the numbers, then it doesnt include the numbers as part
of the arabic sequence. So I think the correct solution is for LO to
automatically insert an RTL mark when the user switches his keyboard to a RTL
language and insert an LTR mark when the user switches his keyboard back to a
LTR language.

@Maxim: Is the changing of keyboard layouts something that LO can detect?

My symptoms are quite different from bug 107090 -- cleanly formed text
characters, but surrounded by scattered pixels if displayed over image -- but
running under 5.3.7.1 fixed it, so I suspect you have it.

To answer your questions (apologies for omitting important info), I'm running
Windows 10 Pro (10.0.15063), although LibreOffice Help About says OS Version
Windows 6.2.  Under Graphics Output, "Use hardware acceleration" and "Use
OpenGL for all rendering" are both checked. 

I'm happy to provide more info or do further testing.
