Interesting difference in wording as well.
Excel:
 - Show empty cells as: Gaps / Zero / Connect data points with line.
Calc:
 - Plot missing values: Leave gap / Assume zero / Continue line.

The bug occurs with non-numeric entries as well, eg. with an 'a'.
It's true that the cell is not empty (so behavior in Excel is correct), but
it's also a missing value (so behavior in Calc is also correct).

And sure enough, the specifications also have this difference:
- OOXML: "Specifies how blank cells are plotted on the chart."
- ODF: "The chart:treat-empty-cells attribute specifies how missing and invalid
values are plotted in a chart. "

Description:
As per summary, the print preview shows a color page even if the printer has
been configured to print in monochrome.

This is confusing to users expecting print previews to match the output.

When coupled with bug #71654 this leads to a lot of paper / toner wastage and
frustration (as the color setting is forgotten between jobs but the previews
look fine).

Ubuntu 16.04 / Oki C301dn with the default OS drivers.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new document in Writer, type a word, change it's colour to red
2. Set printer settings to monochrome
3. View print preview.

Actual Results:  
Text shows as red.

Expected Results:
Text shows as monochrome.


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

Hi

I tested the xlsx file and the both images are down the HTML file
But when saving the xlsx file in a ods file then with LO 5.4.4.2 and
6.1.0.0master both images are on the place where they belong
My suggestion is save the file in the native ods file from LO and then export
to HTML file

Currently only the tar bundle of RPMs is signed with a GPG key. If the system
is setup to only accept signed packages, the individual packages fail to
install and require manual intervention. It would be great if the RPM files
were signed as well.

2. cd expanded_path/RPMS && yum localinstall *.rpm


Actual Results:  
Package libobasis5.3-core-5.3.7.2-2.x86_64.rpm is not signed

Package should install

Description:
When I try to reference different tables in the text, Writer references always
the same (1st) item.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a new file
2.add three tables (make them different colors for convenience)
3.try to reference each of them into a text paragraph below the tables, using
Insert->Cross-reference. For example using the text "Table X is blue, while
green color dominate table Y and table Z is red!", where X, Y and Z should show
the corresponding table numbers.

Actual Results:  
the text reads "Table 1 is blue, while green color dominate table 1 and table 1
is red!"

Expected Results:
the text should read "Table 1 is blue, while green color dominate table 2 and
table 3 is red!"

After your brilliant work on bug 60937 how about this ticket, Abhishek?
Currently we have a tooltip "Font Color" or "Highlight Color" when hovering
over the toolbar or sidebar button and it would be nice to also get the actual
color of the selected object. 

The color widget is defined in svx/uiconfig/ui/colorwindow.ui and
svx/source/tbxctrls/tbcontrl.cxx. The color of the current object is a bit more
difficult, ask if you need help.

Sorry for the late answer.
No, a real imposition software distributes and scales a rotates the pages (on
both sides of the sheets) so that you can fold the paper sheet and cut the
margins and have a booklet (the first page on the back of the last and so on).
The current booklet seems just to print pages (scaled)in order, sort of
thumbnails.

pps file, no display on 4k screen and no sound.

First i upgraded to ver 5.4
I tried the suggestions.
In my dell xps15 with intel + nvidia geforece 1050, there no settings for hw
acceleration.  OpenGL settings are only linked to nvidia 1050 3D settings.
Also in PhysX settings not available in this version.
Only solution now is "Override high DPI scaling behavior" to "Scaling performed
by" [Application], [System], [System (Enhanced)]
as suggested in Bug 108526.  it works with this setting.
Other problem is that the sound does not play in impress.  File attached for
analyses, ok in microsoft powerpoint viewer.

Signing happens at an ODF package level, while versions add new streams in the
ODF package, so this works as expected.

You can't really swap this (sign first, versions later) as an unsigned stream
invalidates the signature in ODF. I would suggest to close this as a not-a-bug.

In theory you could have this feature (if you ignore backwards compatibility),
but then you would loose the ability to say that if a stream is not signed, the
signature is not valid.

you know... some enhancement are useful for some users and useless for
others... it will always be like that.

the original request was about a "right" or "left" click thing to access
directly those folders instead of browsing the file manager, which may be
cumbersome due to the "depth" of those subfolders which are often buried into
some AppData Windows subfolders.

somebody argued that an "open" button would be a better choice...
anyway, I'd be happy with the "right or left click thing" as well

I think, that a change is not possible and not needed.

The conflict between list and paragraph is only in the attributes
fo:margin-left and fo:text-indent. Any other influence of list numbering on
paragraph is an error.

The spec explains it in section 17.20. ,
19.237 fo:margin-left and 19.246 fo:text-indent. The problem might be, whether
inherited values of fo:margin-left and fo:text-indent for the paragraph also
fulfill "paragraph style specifies fo:margin-left and fo:text-indent".
LibreOffice denies this.
Therefore the rule "paragraph overrides list" is only applied, if the list
style is directly referenced by the paragraph style. In UI you get this, if you
select the list style in the Outline tab of the paragraph style. The
automatic numbering produces a similar structure. As long as you change the
indent of all paragraphs in the list at the same time, this structure is
retained.

The fact, that inserting into a list item changes its automatic paragraph
style, is a special problem with the attached document. Inserting sets a new
automatic paragraph style without own fo:margin-left and fo:text-indent here. I
have no idea, what is wrong with the attached document. I cannot produce it
from scratch and if I use "Save a copy" with the attached document, and then
test the behavior on the copy, I do no longer see the error. I have made the
tests with LO 6.1. The document is from LO 3.4. Perhaps some compatibility
setting?

trailing blanks" (see Options-LibreOffice Writer-Compatibility) - see bug

Yes, have not seen any improvement yet. And as said in the first post, version
6.0.0.2.0+ has the problem as well, it is less noticable however (shorter cpu
spikes).

I couldn't record, but I can refine the "Description".

This case has place when you export ODT into DOCX.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter some text.
2. Put non-breaking space in it.
3. Center it.
4. Save as ODT.
5. "Save As..." into DOCX. Use "Miscrosoft Word 2007-2013 XML".
6. Close Writer.
7. Open exported DOCX. Recover if needed. You'll see NBSPs as regular spaces.
8. Try to insert NBSP.
9. Voilà: they are vanished!
10. This conduct persists even if you export the document back to ODT. I.e. you
can close it, open again, but NBSP are still vanished.

Description:
I received a pps file which does not display correctly in impress on my new
laptop, DELL XPS15 with 4K screen.  On my old laptop with 1280dpi screen and
win 10 pro it works ok.
The screen is white with black boxes on top and below.  The slide progress
fickers.
It plays correctly in microsoft powerpoint viewer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click on the pps file
2.

Actual Results:  
white screen with flickering black boxes top and bottom.

can only press escape to quit.  the first slide shows very briefly and impress
closes.

Expected Results:
pps file to play correct on the 4k screen.


Reproducible: Always

The problem of copying text from pdfs created with unicode fonts for complex
scripts has been solved by Jonathan Kew by use of actualtext in xelatex.


It uses the new \XeTeXgenerateactualtext feature - please see
http://tug.org/pipermail/xetex/2016-February/026445.html for the announcement.

Is it possible to use a similar approach for Libre Office?
