[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118021] New: EDITING: Dynamic Table

2018-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118021

Bug ID: 118021
   Summary: EDITING: Dynamic Table
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.4.7.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: qfsuar...@yahoo.es

Created attachment 142549
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142549=edit
Please see the sheet "Resumen Actualizable" and try to modify the field
"FECHADD/MM/AA"

When I do a dynamic table, if I choose a filter which outcome has less columns
than the fields I used to get it, it's impossible to come back, cause the
columns that are "outside" of the outcome area are unreachables to bring the
dynamic table to the start point.

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97412] Writer can't handle corrupt docx files correctly

2018-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97412

--- Comment #7 from eamonfitzpatr...@caretoday.co.uk ---
I would like to add that I have been getting a number of similar errors

We are getting a number form letter style docx documents that appear to be
generated by an earlier version of libreoffice to create form letters via a
large government agency (ofsted).

the app.xml shows the following

http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/officeDocument/2006/extended-properties;
xmlns:vt="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/officeDocument/2006/docPropsVTypes;>0LibreOffice/5.1.5.2$Windows_x86
LibreOffice_project/7a864d8825610a8c07cfc3bc01dd4fce6a9447e5

unzipping and reziping the file fixes the problem, we normally just open in
another program.

the problem appears to affects openoffice and libreoffice 3.1-6.1

Word can open the files, wordonline can't. Pagis can't, WPS and Softmaker can.

I thought it would be worthwhile posting as I unfortunatly can't share the
documents due to confidentiality, but it may be a warning of an increasing
frequency of this issue caused by some product on the market creating out of
specification archives.

tdf#95295: don't add duplicate conditional formats
This tries to make sure that on copy, any conditional formatting
that has same entries (conditions and formats) as another condition
in the table, is not appended to the conditions list, but updates
existing condition's range. This should prevent multiplication of
entries with duplicating conditions and formats, and fragmenting
ranges.

Existing unit tests had to be adjusted, because they had ensured
exactly that behaviour that is changed in this commit: that new
items are added to the list, and e.g. multiple elements are created
when a single cell is copied to a range.

That should be doable on linux now out of the box, with gpg4libre / GPG keys.
With Debian/Ubuntu, you'll very likely have everything you need for that
installed already on a stock system.

As you state, that does not currently work for PDF. It is possibly (though not
implemented), to store X509 keys also in the gpg keystore.

Would that address your use case? Beyond that, duplicating elsewhere-available
crypto UI inside LibreOffice does neither appear useful, nor sustainable to me.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117999] Invalid behaviour when inserting references to numbered paragraphs

2018-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117999

(In reply to Dieter Praas from comment #1)
> I confirm the behaviour you decribe, but I also think, that this is a
> consistent behaviour and something, that I would expect. So I think NOTABUG

I do not agree, the described behaviour is not consistent. Reproducing the case
using the "after" part only, i.e. "." - a dot (I mean a numbering format like
1., 2., etc.) one will get the expected result (1, 2 - WITHOUT "a dot"). To be
consistent the output should look like 1., 2. (WITH "a dot"). So in my opinion
this is definitely a BUG.

>
> I also think, that [1-10] isn't correct, because the numbered list is from
> [1] to [10] and not from 1 to 10.

Also I do not agree with the thesis that in described case the list items are
numbered from [1] to [10]. In my opinion the list items are numbered from 1 to
10 and the "square brackets" are just ornamentation. Anyway, on the "Customize"
tab of "Numbering style" there is an information that the "Number" format is
"1, 2, 3, ..." and it "Start at" 1 and not "[1]".

Sample calc worksheet saved as excel 2007-2013

Password is helicopter.

1. Open the file
2. Make a change
3. Kill it through task manager (currently using windows 10). Killing the task
is as close as I can come to reproducing libre office crashing/needing to be
ended due to being non responsive.
4. reopen calc to initiate recovery
5. it will ask for the password
6. if you just save it after recovery the file will no longer have a password.

2018-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118019

Bug ID: 118019
Summary: Notebookbar items overflow and icons
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: eliutim...@gmail.com

Created attachment 142547
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142547=edit
Some screenshots to show the problems.

I'm trying the new Notebookbar and I have noticed that in the contextual
groups' type, the components are hidden in small screens and do not have a
scrollbar to use it, some of then are overflowing their containers, this
happens in the grouped bar full and compact layout too.
I'm using a 1366*768 monitor, and some time I have to increase the width of the
window to see some options.
another thing is in some icons are not showing properly, in Tabbed layout, I'm
using the Breeze icons btw.

I confirm the behaviour you decribe, but I also think, that this is a

I also think, that [1-10] isn't correct, because the numbered list is from [1]

Changing component type to Draw and setting new

IN WRITER LibO works for me, as I expect it to, using 6.0.4 rel (tdf build) and
the same way in 6.1 beta

Copy / paste using CTRL/INSERT key combination paste works, inserts image.

popup menu Paste->Paste Special->More Options then choose HTML does insert the
image.

popup menu Paste, default, is text only so the image doesn't come.

IN DRAW and IMPRESS it does not.

Copy / paste using CTRL/INSERT key combination inserts text.

popup menu Paste inserts text.

There is no popup menu Paste->Paste Special
That I would say is the bug.

I bibisected in bibisect-win32-5.3 for these steps

1. Set zoom to 70%
2. Ctrl-Enter three times

The page break dashed line is not visible starting from the third entered
break. Scrolling makes it visible.

This was blamed:

Don't AlignToPixel in SwView::SetVisArea
When e.g. inserting a Writer doc in a Calc doc ("Insert - Object - OLE
Object...
- Create new - LibreOffice 5.3 Text" in Calc), the resulting .ods contains the
size of the embedded Writer doc in two places.

I tried reverting it on Linux, but I could not get it to build (related stuff
has changed).
It kind of sounds like a wrong result.

For some reason, I could already repro the disappearing page break in a release
build of 5.0.2.2 on Windows. That is why I found it confusing that I had to go
to bibisect repo 5.3 as all the older ones worked fine.

2. Use Ctrl+ArrowDown to move cursor to last data in column A.
3. Use ArrowRight to move cursor to column B.
Notice, no selection up to now.
4. Use Shift+'Click on first data in column B'. In case you want a marked area
starting in row 1, then Shift+PgUp will work too.

Refactor CommonSalLayout font handling
Moves all platform specific code from CommonSalLayout into the
platform specific plugins. This way the vcl library won't depend
on the Qt5 libraries and the Qt5Font header can be moved into the
qt5 VCL plugin.

While at it, switch the CommonSalLayouts font reference from the
FontSelectPattern to the LogicalFontInstance and also add the
harfbuzz font handling to the instance.

The problem is not present for EU in 6.1 beta either.

It is present in 6.0.4

Sophi identified two of the faulty strings as 9HzEG and F7vQ2 in Pootle. Both
appear as automatically translated (no author) 3 months ago, that's after 6.0
release but before 6.0.4, we remember/think that everything translatable was
100% translated on time for 6.0 release.

I'm having trouble to find the KeyID language pack for 6.0.4 to identify the
rest of faulty strings, is it only created for beta and alpha releases?

fdo#65403, fdo#65404 DOCX export/import of character highlight

Steps
-Add a new character attribute (RES_CHRATR_HIGHLIGHT)
-Get this character attribute via SwFont class just like
background
-If has highlight, then paint that, otherwise paint background
-Extend UNO API
-Implement DOCX export and import filter
Note: By now character highlight can't be set via UI.
It's a next step to add a highlight option.

Tobias Madl's timer, idle & scheduling work seems to be the cause.
Won't bother adding to CC as he has not committed anything since 2015.

You guys closed this bug prematurely. It was never fixed. The code change
pointed to in comment #16 does nothing to address this issue. And the symptom
is still reproducible, and has been all along. I continue to see it in various
versions of LibreOffice up to and including the current version, running on
various different flavors and versions of both Windows and Linux.
