[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 123778] New: Frequent crashes in sal3.dll when EDITING forms.

2019-02-28 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123778

Bug ID: 123778
Summary: Frequent crashes in sal3.dll when EDITING forms.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Base
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: alexan...@steinhoefer.net

This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is
br-79ecb678-c319-4134-8df7-dc0c2fe8db0d.
=

I am using LibreOffice Base with a MySQL-Backend.

Especially when trying to view/use a Form, LibreOffice crashes very often with
this report.

Using:
- MySQL 5.7.23 connected over WAN
- mysql-connector-java-8.0.15.jar

Steps to reproduce:

1. Design Database with SQL Backend
2. Create Form for one table
3. Open Form (not in Design Mode)
4. Likely observer random crash.

I'd really like to help to get this resolved, but I am not sure which
information might be relevant to add.

If you need any further info, or more crash reports (I can provide plenty),
I'll gladly add them to this bug report. I also have a Visual Studio debugger
and gdb (MingW) at hands, if that might help any further.

Thanks for your help!

Description:
[1] The document looks Okay on LibreOffice (as designed); however, the fonts of
hyperlinked texts look different, as they randomly change to unspecified type

but looks black in the right font on LibreOffice.
[2] Highlighting function generally seems to work Okay for other highlighted
texts, but there is only one highlighted sentence in a document, where the
highlight does not show up in an exported PDF. The text is purple #9B4FE7, and
highlight color is "Light Yellow 3". The text color shows correctly, but no
highlight.

Expected Results:
[1&2] I would expect the PDF to appear in the same way as you see on the
LibreOffice.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Thank you -- otherwise, It is a wonderful software. I have used OpenOffice
decades ago, but the software has significantly improved and stable.

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104597] Persian in imported PDF gets reversed

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

For implementation I think maybe it is to record the presentation directly to a

LibreOffice is not a PDF reader/editor. Rather PDF are imported by filter into
any of the modules in LibreOffice and then exported back out to PDF if that is
desired.

Highest fidelity import is done as a non-editable image.

The document is PDF 1.6 using proprietary Adobe XFA from Adobe XML Form module.
Even if this were flipped to be an enhancement--unlikely any dev interest would
arise.

The document, that I attached to the original report, is provided by the public
administration in order to list candidates for general elections. Myself I did
not made any changes to this document and due to this bug I am not able to make
any changes with LibreOffice. I also tried it with version 3.3.0. This version
did not hang, but if you save the document under a different name the file is
corrupted. Furthermore on my system I have not installed MSO, so I am sorry

   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: Inherited From OOo
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: filter:xlsx
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu
Blocks: 75057

Created attachment 149666
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=149666&action=edit
Sample ODS

This is similar / follow-up to bug 122031.
Attaching an ODS created in Calc that is similar to attachment 147454 (which
was created in Excel), the percentage format in chart is set to 3 decimals.

- Save as XLSX, and reload.

=> Percentages have no decimals. Same when the resulting file is opened in
Excel.

The chart is also flipped horizontally, but let that have its own bug report.

Observed using LO 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ (140fd0a1b1da1b0b14bda17c926dd8f95750ba92) &
4.4.0.3 / Windows 7.
In 4.0.0.3 & 3.3.0 even data labels aren't exported.

Thank you for reporting the bug. I can reproduce this bug, but not all the
time.

1.) First time - I Select "hide whitespace" and use navigator to jump to the
last position, there is no jump.

2.) Second time - I deselect "hide whitespace" and again select "hide
whitespace" and use navigator to jump to the last position, there is no jump.

3.) Third time - Now again, I deselect "hide whitespace" and again select "hide
whitespace" and use navigator to jump to the last position, here there is a
jump. The view position jump until the entire document has been processed

So there is a jump every third time I repeat these steps.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 123773] New: LibreOffice website link errors

2019-02-28 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123773

Bug ID: 123773
   Summary: LibreOffice website link errors
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.5.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Installation
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: b...@dslextreme.com

Description:
1st problem: When I click on the download for x86-64 LibreOffice 6.1.5 Deb it
should go to the download for the deb version. It, instead, goes to the tar
version which won't install in Mint 19.1 (at least not easily).

2nd problem: I haven't logged in in a long time (no need to). I tried logging
in under my email, b...@dslextreme.com. My email was recognized when I asked to
change the password. I was supposed to receive an email allowing me to change
the password (because I don't remember it). It has been more than 10 minutes
and the email hasn't shown up.

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to YOUR LibreOffice.org website and repeat my steps listed above. Who is
coding your website. It isn't difficult to link to the correct download.

Actual Results:
See above. If it isn't obvious, you need to stop being part of the "support"
team.

Expected Results:
Already described above. Link for download of deb version of LO goes to tar
version which is WRONG!

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Your website should link to the download of the deb version like I requested.

2019-02-28 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71057

--- Comment #27 from christophe.jail...@wanadoo.fr ---
The issue seems to be less important in 6.2.0.3 (x86 - Windows 10)

On my system, the shadow issue only affects the upper border (previously there
were also some issue with the right border)

When the shadow issue is visible, it is a very thin line now, much less visible
than before.

Finally, at some zoom level, there is no issue at all. (but I don't remember if
it was already the case before)

I've not been able to reproduce the issue with either of the 2 attached
test-cases.
If needed I can provide a new one with the effect described above.

See attached beanshell script.

The dialog is set to be "Sizeable", so the user should be able to resize the
dialog.
That doesn't work currently.
