Created attachment 150436
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=150436=edit
I isolated the page with the image that doesn't print.

I would like to attach the PDF with the missing image too, but apparently, I
can attach only ONE document here. Anyway, the bug doesn't occur when I print
only one page per sheet, but it comes back when I print TWO pages per sheet of
paper.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

As requested.
1. Closed Libreoffice
2. renamed Home/.config/Libreoffice/4/User to User-old
3. Opened libreoffice.
No existing documents displayed.
4. Opened a new Writer document.
5. Noted that a new /User profile created in
 Home/.config/Libreoffice/4
along with a .lock file
6. Clicked [Help]
7. Clicked [Help ... F-1]
The help not installed message displayed with the [View online] and
[Cancel] buttons/
8. Clicked [Cancel]
Once again,
Err- LibreOffice 2019-03-31 01.png

which confirms that my test using Safe Mode did confirm that the profile was
not part of the problem.
Also confirms that Safe Mode does still exclude the profile when running.

Wish I could provide something more specific to expose the problem.
Luigi

I can't reproduce, do you have both files saved at least once. And both are
opened with the same LibreOffice, not with different versions.

The example file with the formula cut into pieces.

With the formula cut into pieces I can't see the error.
I have not excel to test.
Maybe excel gives negative values for MOD() function over negatives input.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124461] New: Creating workbook to workbook links no longer simple.

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124461

Bug ID: 124461
Summary: Creating workbook to workbook links no longer simple.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.5.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: b...@telpro.co.za

Description:
Traditionally in Libra office if one wanted to link A1 in worksheet Bob to B1
in works sheet Sam, and you had both worksheets open, you would simply place an
equals sign in A1 in Bob and pick on B1 in Sam. This functionality seems to
have disappeared. You can use the Hyperlink dialogue, however this is extremely
cumbersome if you have a range of cells you would like to link.

Actual Results:
=

Expected Results:
cell value from external file

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
>From Libra Office Help
Choose File - Open, to load an existing spreadsheet document.
Choose File - New, to open a new spreadsheet document. Set the cursor in the
cell where you want to insert the external data and enter an equals sign to
indicate that you want to begin a formula.
Now switch to the document you have just loaded. Click the cell with the data
that you want to insert in the new document.
Switch back to the new spreadsheet. In the input line you will now see how
LibreOffice Calc has added the reference to the formula for you.
The reference to a cell of another document contains the name of the other
document in single inverted commas, then a hash #, then the name of the sheet
of the other document, followed by a point and the name of the cell.
Confirm the formula by clicking the green check mark.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124460] New: Daylight savings time causes LibreOffice Calc (Possibly also Write, Impress)

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124460

Bug ID: 124460
Summary: Daylight savings time causes LibreOffice Calc
(Possibly also Write, Impress)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.3 release
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: whizz...@gmail.com

Description:
With an open document overnight, if a daylight savings time changeover has
happened while the document was open, trying to re-save the program gives a
warning that another application might have changed the document even if that
isn't the case.

Marking as minor instead of trivial as this touches upon file saving
correctness so a fix should be vetted. (possibly leaving as-is might be safer
overall)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any document, possibly save also
2. Set the system clock to just before a daylight savings time changeover
3. Wait for the DST changeover
4. Save normally

Actual Results:
The program warns that the file might have been changed by another program.

Expected Results:
The program should save without an issue.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The program probably uses a stat function or similar that uses local time to
see when the file was saved, whereas it probably should have used a unix
timestamp or similar to determine this.

odt and docx are archive files, in fact zipfiles renamed in .odt or .docx.
doc files are binary files. Could you try if opening zipfiles (with .zip
extension) stored on the network is slow too ?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124459] New: Inconsistent menu ordering between Writer and Calc

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124459

Bug ID: 124459
Summary: Inconsistent menu ordering between Writer and Calc
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: trivial
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: m...@maxbarry.com

Description:
The "File" menu of Writer and Calc list the same items, but swap their order,
which constantly thwarts the user's muscle memory, causing mis-clicks.

In Writer -> File:
1. New
2. Open
3. Recent Documents
4. Open Remote File
5. Close

In Calc -> File
1. New
2. Open
3. Open Remote File
4. Recent Documents
5. Close

I always use the keyboard combo: Alt+F, Down arrow, Down arrow, Enter, to
quickly access Recent Documents, but this bug means I need to stop and think
each time whether I'm in Writer or Calc and therefore whether I need to hit
Down twice or three times.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Activate "File" menu
3. Observe order of "Recent Documents" and "Open Remote File"
4. Open Calc
5. Activate "File" menu
6. Observe order of "Recent Documents" and "Open Remote File"

Actual Results:
Order of "Recent Documents" and "Open Remote File" is reversed in Calc compared
to Writer.

Expected Results:
Order of menu items should be consistent.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
(Just personally, I like having "Recent Documents" as close to the top as
possible, since I use that all the time and reach it via keyboard navigation. I
never use "Open Remote File.")

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106919] CALC: moving cell A1 data changes reference of Range Names in chart which doesn't reference cell A1

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106919

The bug is still present in
Version: 6.2.2.2
Build ID: 2b840030fec2aae0fd2658d8d4f9548af4e3518d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.14.4; UI render: default; VCL: osx;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I tested it on the file included in the email which asked me to re-test. The
bug is present.

I also tested it on the file from which the test file was originally created.
Since the creation of the file, I have rearranged the sheets, and the relevant
sheet is now Sheet 4. Moving Cell A1 on Sheet 4 doesn't cause the chart titles
to change.
However, moving Cell A1 on Sheet 1 cause the chart titles to change.
Moving Cell A1 on Sheets 1 & 2 leaves the chart titles unaffected.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124456] New: Make Ant configue.ac check more robust

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124456

Bug ID: 124456
Summary: Make Ant configue.ac check more robust
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: devuran...@gmx.net

Description:
Attached patch makes the configure.ac check for Ant more robust by specifically
searching for the line containing the version information.

See-Also: https://bugs.gentoo.org/682156
See-Also: https://bugs.gentoo.org/682136

Steps to Reproduce:
At least on Gentoo, Ant is wrapped in a shell script that might output
additional lines. This would lead to the build of LibreOffice 6.2.2.2 failing
with following message: checking whether Ant is >= 1.6.0... ./configure: line
39234: test: determine because are have 1: integer expression expected

Actual Results:
checking whether Ant is >= 1.6.0... ./configure: line 39234: test: determine
because are have 1: integer expression expected

Expected Results:
LibreOffice's configure.ac should ignore any extraneous lines in the output of
`ant -version` and focus on the line containing the version information.

Reproducible: Always

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124455] New: EDITING: Edit Index Entry impossible for 1st key in alphabetical index

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124455

Bug ID: 124455
Summary: EDITING: Edit Index Entry impossible for 1st key in
alphabetical index
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rob...@familiegrosskopf.de

Created attachment 150429
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=150429=edit
Screenshots of "Edit Index Entry" in LO 6.2.2.2 and LO 6.1.5.2

This bug first appears in LO 6.2.*, works right in LO 6.1.5.2:

Open a document and create some index-entries for an alphabetical index. Try to
set "1st key" in the combobox. Combobox is greyed out. Impossible to set a
cursor there.

Try the same in LO 6.1.5.2: Combobox is set white. Cursor could be set an "1st
key" could be written.

Attachment shows screenshots of the buggy behaviour.

Test versions:
Version: 6.2.2.2
Build ID: 2b840030fec2aae0fd2658d8d4f9548af4e3518d
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 4.12; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (de_DE.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

Version: 6.1.5.2
Build ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 4.12; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2;
Locale: en-US (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

The bug isn't identical to bug 123995. Bug 123995 is reported for older
LO-versions, because it is a bug for user-defined indexes.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81640] Very slow and lagging if open file stored on network

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81640

--- Comment #16 from Alan Howlett
---
So... I did a test with a file on the network called "Directions.doc". I saved
it to .docx and .odt, then saved the .odt to Directions2.doc to see if the
problem was the file format.

I opened the file by clicking on it in Dolphin:
Directions.doc - 2 seconds.
Directions.docx - 32 seconds
Directions.odt - 32 seconds
Directions2.doc - 2 seconds

All these files open "instantly" on the desktop, but on the network there is
clearly a problem, which suggests something like excessive I/O's which choke
the network.

I have been experiencing this for a least 2 years I think, but have only just
seen that it is associated with the file suffix. I have reproduced this problem
a few times in doing this note and it seems consistent, so it's not an issue
with the network or disks going to sleep.

I hope this helps.

I am running the latest Manjaro with LibreOffice:
Version: 6.2.2.2
Build ID: 6.2.2-1
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 4.14; UI render: default; VCL: kde5;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I have no performance problem with LibreOffice against my local disk. My
network is 1Gb/s, I am the only user, with a 4-disk Diskstation as our server.
Performance is really slow over the network. Anything I am actually working on
gets copied to my local disk so it is much faster.

Thank you guys for working on these issues & making my life better.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124420] FIREBIRD: Query multiplication function returns invalid data when used with fixed point data types (numeric and decimal)

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon

I am running norwegian Windows 10, but have changed the decimal delimiter to
point ".", due to requirements of other engineering software form the US. This
has cause issues in other LibreOffice modules previously (see issue 120149).

Libreoffice setting however is decimal delimiter = same as local setting (,).

Unchecking this setting does not seem to change anything however (checked in
Calc).

Did also a test, setting decimal delimiter to default ",", and generate new
database. Result however is the same.

Doing the same operation in a report however gives the correct results.

New informations to this bug wouldn't be read, because we decided it is a
duplicate of bug 121528.

This bug is a special Firebird-bug. If you create an internal HSQLDB the query
will work right. No problems with decimal-places there, independent of the
language.

Export to .jpg .pdf .tif .svg .bmp gives the same image size but the object has

Checked it again, this time with LibreOffice 6.2.2.2

Results:
1. Connection to a Samba server still is impossible for regular users
2. The Help system is sitll as useless as in past.
3. No any help word about Linux and Samba server. Just useless mentioning of
common words with Windows in mind.
4. The help content is too basic without any example or screenshots to show how
to connect.

My feeling is there is zero improvement in the reported problems

The PNG icons of the extension are being mishandled--incorrectly
scalled/clipped--when rendered to the extensions Toolbar or Menu when OpenGL
rendering is enabled.

No issue when OpenGL rendering is not used.

But, not clear LibreOffice is ever using the 16x16 px icon--seems we are always
(Default or OpenGL rendering) using the 26x26 px icon which has different
assignment of alpha channel. It is just being scaled differently between
default and OpenGL rendering paths.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124453] New: enhancement: mark cells after indirect changes by the program when editing a sheet

2019-03-31 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124453

Bug ID: 124453
Summary: enhancement: mark cells after indirect changes by the
program when editing a sheet
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: newbie...@gmx.de

Description:
srry i.a. if similar already exists.

main idea: when calc adapts formulas in other cells than touched by the user -
'indirect changes' - those changes should be made visible to the user with a
'mark' on the changed cells, giving him a chance to check the changes and
correct unwanted results in time. the marks can be removed after an 'accept
changes' action of the user.

long: when e.g. moving cells calc adapts the formulas in other cells which
reference towards these cells.

a.) when a referenced range is moved in total the formula is changed to point
to the new position,

b.) when a part of a referenced range is moved the formula is kept 'as is',
thus loosing part of it's arguments,

right?

becoming complex latest when a.) and b.) are mixed in one move.

(include nested formulas and similar, and you easily reach the border of my
skills)

for an SMU - 'simple minded user' - it's difficult to understand and follow
these changes, just think of complex sheets you didn't create yourself.

above enhancement could clear this situation.

suggestion:

coloured triangle in upper left corner of the cell, light green: unchanged,
light yellow: changes in referenced ranges, formula kept, light red: formula
adapted reg. changes in referenced ranges.

Steps to Reproduce:
A1:'2', B1:'3', A2:'4', B2:'5',
C1:'=SUM(A1:B2)',
C2:'=SUM(A2:B3)',
move A2:B3 to A4:B5,
observe formula in C1 unchanged, formula in C2 changed to point to the new
position of the moved content,
(despite taking long time to show the result - ver.2019-03-30_02:16:13 - the
formula is changed at once)

Actual Results:
two similar formulas are handeled differently

Expected Results:
these changes should be 'noticeable' to the user,

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124450] Libreoffice Calc: Autofilter functions are slow

Yes, the memory consumption is expected (because the file contains nearly 1
million lines and Calc does not support memory mapped files [YET!]).

However, the slowness of opening autofilter dropdown is easily fixable (read
complete section to the buffer and merge sort, which is O(n log n)). Current
method seems to be 2^(O(n)) :-\
