[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125017] New: Enhancement: Increase Precision of Position and Size
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125017 Bug ID: 125017 Summary: Enhancement: Increase Precision of Position and Size Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ssuffic...@gmail.com Currently, you are only able to specify 3 digits of precision in an object position and size. It would be nice to have this increased to include more digits of precision. Long story: I am attempting to use Draw for simple room layouts. Due to the limitation in page size and maximum number of inches, I have to shift decimal places to scale down to the page size. This works for rough measures, but when I need fractions, the decimal shift causes loss of precision. I see 3 possible solutions here, there may be others. 1: Increase decimal precision. 2: Allow much larger page sizes. 3: Allow the user to specify page units of measure (inch, feet, etc) and scale. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Bad. However, if the initial mode is Insert in step 2 when editing begins (Note), hit Ins to set mode to Overwrite; now, highlighting of cell A1 disappears, and step 3 gives the correct result: '=b1'. Note: The initial mode is important: hit Esc to end editing, then click the editLine for a 'fresh' edit in the last mode (Insert or Overwrite), which is now the initial mode. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
