https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124443 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added Keywords||difficultyBeginner, ||easyHack, skillCpp --- Comment #3 from Mike Kaganski --- Code pointer: ScInputHandler (sc/source/ui/inc/inputhdl.hxx) has relevant ShowTip/HideTip and ShowTipBelow/HideTipBelow (implemented in sc/source/ui/app/inputhdl.cxx). They display the tip respectively above/below the edited line. It seems that the "Below" tip may be displayed *in addition* to the normal one, as a secondary tooltip. So the question is, if it's really implemented in some case to show two tooltips simultaneously; if not, then simply drop the "*Below" methods and replace their usage with normal variants. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111874 --- Comment #14 from QA Administrators --- Dear sergio.callegari, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126453] New: Tooltip stays topmost after switching to other applications, covering part of screen
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126453 Bug ID: 126453 Summary: Tooltip stays topmost after switching to other applications, covering part of screen Product: LibreOffice Version: Inherited From OOo Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com Created attachment 152841 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=152841&action=edit A screenshot of the problem When writing a formula (having AutoInput enabled), and typing a function name or opening a spreadsheet function's parenthesis, there appears a tooltip (suggesting function names, or explaining parameters). If one switches to another application at this moment, the tooltip stays, and may cover parts of UI of applications one wants to work with. My expectation is that the tooltip disappears as soon as Calc looses focus. Actually, the tooltip stays also when user interacts with other LibreOffice's UI elements, e.g. menu: it stays atop the menu items (covering the text); stays atop Help->About dialog, etc. Tested with Version: 6.3.0.1 (x64) Build ID: 41ac97386aba908b6db860cfb4cfe2da871886ae CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded and with OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 OOO320m12 (Build:9483). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I need this behaviour to change with one single click the style of all shapes which is very usefull when you make templates/gallery items cause you can't fit the template for the specific coler composition and I don't want to end up to have 6 time the same gallery item only cause the color is different. with select all shapes with color red it will be easy and fast to change everything to any other color. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125767] Unable to drag and drop fields when creating a pivot table
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125767 --- Comment #11 from zeem...@gmail.com --- Caolán McNamara - I did a little more investigation as I searched for the latest version of CALC that has working Pivot Tables. I'm taking AppImage files from: http://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/index.php/old-versions/ to simplify testing and to mitigate any influence of my own Linux environment as much as possible. There are two problems: 1) Pivot Tables layout dialog box drag and drop got broken between Ver 6.0.6.2 and Ver 6.1.0.3 (using VCL: gtk2 as with earlier versions which all work as expected) 2) Starting with LibreOffice 6.2.2.2, users cannot drag & drop blocks of cells either (correlates with change from gtk2 to gtk3) All tests run on Chromebook's Crostini (Debian stretch) environment. I tried sevral tricks like deleting the cache, changing the dpi scaling method in Windows (Application : pixelated / System : Blurry ) and desactivated OpenGL with no success. I also tried SVG icons : they are a little bit better but still blurry. I finally changed my system dpi to 125% and the interface is perfect (but my whole system is too small) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Libreoffice (clean install on a new PC) 2. Launch Libreoffice / Writer with default dpi (150%) --> ICONS pixelated 3. Close Libreoffice 4. Change system dpi to 125% 5. Launch Libreoffice / Writer --> Icons are perfect Actual Results: Icons pixelated (Screenshot to follow) Expected Results: Icons sharp Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Since you're on Plasma, the VCL backend now in use should be kde5 instead of kde4. Just check "About LibreOffice". I can't really qualify "fluidity". In comparison to kde4, kde5 uses native menu bars, so LO isn't touching these at all. Everything is drawn only by Qt. LO still draws the popup menus itself. The menubar should look and behave like any KDE application. If you think there is a bug, then check 6.3 or feel free to open a new bug report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126352] “Create Style” Dialogue Does not Work Correctly if Opened via Menu or Toolbar: (often/always) shows other styles than the 'own styles', sometimes inactive when it shoul
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126352 --- Comment #9 from V Stuart Foote --- (In reply to Harald Koester from comment #8) > In my initial report I proposed that first a user should choose the type of > style and afterwards the formatting dialog will be opened. So the dialog should have a set of radio buttons? When a selection is made from canvas it would pre-select that radio button. If no selection, then picking a radio button would set that style type (as currently customized, or with defaults for the type?).
