https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128680 Bug ID: 128680 Summary: Ability to pin files to the [File] "Recent Documents" popup window Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.2.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: llon...@gmail.com Description: For all LibreOffice applications, please add the ability for the user to "pin" files to the "File > Recent Documents" popup window. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any LibreOffice application. 2. Select "File" from the Menu bar and scroll down to highlight "Recent Documents". 3. A popup window displays about 20 of the most recently used LO files. Actual Results: Only the most recently used LO files are displayed. Expected Results: PROPOSAL: The window will display LO files that have been "pinned" by the user at the top. These would be followed by LO files that have been most recently used. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: There are certain files that I use on a regular (monthly, etc.) basis. However, I often have to browse to open them, since I may have opened a number of other files in the meantime. By allowing me to "pin" specific files to this window, I will be able to find those important--but not frequently used--files when I need them. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128678] New: EDITING Unable to unselect merged cells using arrows keys when selecting from bottom or right
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128678 Bug ID: 128678 Summary: EDITING Unable to unselect merged cells using arrows keys when selecting from bottom or right Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.2.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nilskemail+bugzi...@gmail.com Description: When adding merged cells to a selection which are to the top or left of the initial cell it is not possible to unselect them using Shift+Arrow in the direction they are merged. Unselecting them using a mouse or escaping the merged cell perpendicular to it's merged direction still works however. When selecting a mix of normal and merged cells (using a mouse or Shift+Arrow) the behaviour can get pretty strange. This can be tested by making a circle of merged cells (X: merged): 0 X X 0 X 0 0 X X 0 0 X 0 X X 0 The selection mechanism can now be tested by select a cell in an inner or outer corner and adding more cells to the selection. It can be observed that above problem does not occur when the initall selected cell is to the top and/or left oft the merged cells. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Merge cells A1 and B1 2. Select cell C1 3. Press Shift+LeftArrow to add A1:B1 to the selection 4. Try to remove A1:B1 from the selection using Shift+RightArrow Actual Results: Step 4 is impossible and you can't remove the merged cells from the selection Expected Results: After either 1 or 2 presses of the right arrow the merged cells should be excluded from the selection Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 6.3.2.2 Build ID: 1:6.3.2-0ubuntu2 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97086] Encrypting OOXML files truncates password to 15 characters
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97086 --- Comment #11 from Asher --- After running afoul of this in 6.2. I redownloaded 6.3.3.2 (current most recent) and retested. OOXML still has this limit with no warning or other information about what's going on. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128676] New: Icons in menus don't display in 6.2, but they display in 6.1
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128676 Bug ID: 128676 Summary: Icons in menus don't display in 6.2, but they display in 6.1 Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.8.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ronljohnso...@gmail.com Description: I've got 6.1.6 (from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?type=deb-x86_64), and I've been upgrading in place like that for many years. Tools->Options->LibreOffice->View->Menu "Icons in menus" is set to Automatic, and the icons display as expected. Finally, I decided to upgrade to 6.2, and downloaded and installed 6.2.8 from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?type=deb-x86_64. After installing it, the icons do not display even though "Icons in menus" is still set to Automatic. The problem occurred in both Calc and Writer (that's all I tried). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download the debian 6.2.8 packages. 2. Install them in Xubuntu, parallel to 6.1. 3. Run 6.2.8. 4. Click any drop-down menu. Actual Results: Menu icons do not display. Expected Results: Menu icons display even when "Icons in menus" is set to Automatic. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128091] Dialog box: inconsistent use of ENTER and CTRL-TAB keys (LINUX only)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128091 Buovjaga changed: What|Removed |Added CC||todven...@suomi24.fi --- Comment #7 from Buovjaga --- First of all, for me, both with 6.3 and master (using gtk3 backend), the Character formatting dialog closes after changing a value and hitting Enter. To be sure, please be more specific about which field you are manipulating in the Character formatting dialog. Second, if the keyboard behaviour changed in relation to tabs, it must be because the dialogs now use native gtk: https://caolanm.blogspot.com/2019/10/native-gtk-dialogs-in-libreoffice.html This means LibreOffice adapts to the gtk way of doing things and it certainly might be different from Windows. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128614] Paste bug
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128614 --- Comment #1 from Markus --- I can't reproduce this behaviour in LinuxMint 19.1 / LO 6.3.3.2 (de-de). But I know this exact problem from Windows + Excel 2016: As long as there is a "blinking line" (sorry, don't know the "professional" term for this) around the selected - and copied - cells, the clipboard seems to be write-locked so that other applications can only read from but not write to the clipboard. Only when you return to Excel/Calc and press ESC key (= end this "copy mode") the clipboard is "unlocked" again. And: The problem only arises when selecting/copying CELLS, not single letters/text within a cell.
