If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131266 Bug ID: 131266 Summary: Extra space added into .doc (possibly RTF) Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.1.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: saywel...@gmail.com I have some documents that were scanned and OCRed using older software and saved as .doc. There are some double spaces due to interpretation of typewriter font. In previous versions I could remove these by CTRL+H and searching for " " (two spaces) and replacing with " " (single space). In version 6.4 the same document now seems to have two characters for each space. Inspection by ALT+x shows where there is one space (U+0020) in the document opened in Writer 6.3.4.2. The same document opened in Writer 6.4.1.2 has 2 spaces: U+2006U+0020. It seems that the new version converts the space to Unicode but doesn't delete the older character -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 131265] New: 'update' icon in 3D Effects dialog has got reverse meaning
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131265 Bug ID: 131265 Summary: 'update' icon in 3D Effects dialog has got reverse meaning Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: regression Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de Created attachment 158575 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=158575=edit For testing 'update' icon in 3D-Effects dialog Start current daily build of LibreOffice, e.g. from 2020-03-08. Customize a toolbar to include the '3D Effects' icon. Open attached document. Start the dialog with tab 'Geometry'. Notice, that the 'update' icon, second from right in upper line, is not pressed. Click a 3D-object. Notice, that the dialog is filled with the properties of the selected object. Click another 3D-object, the properties change. Click on the 'Update' icon to activate it. Again click on the 3D-objects. Notice, that the values in the dialog do not change. Close document without any changes. Start an older build, e.g. from 2020-01-15. Do the same as above. Notice, that now with pressed (activated) icon the dialog values are updated and with not pressed (deactivated) icon the dialog values are not updated. Because the meaning of the 'update' icon has always (starting with StarOffice) been, that pressed, active icon means, that the dialog values will get the values from the selected 3D-shape, I consider the now reversed behavior as bug. (it's too long for developers to read and recheck ) the provided sample has only about 250 comments, that shouldn't be a problem on recent hardware, but bigger amounts definitively are. there have been - accidental? - improvements in ver 6.2.7.1 and 6.2.8.2, win!, lin was still very slow. theese improvements seem to 'fade out' in 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 and 7.0 versions :-( i suggest using the 6.2 versions for files with plenty comments, be careful, they are not robust regarding parallelized computing, 'openCL' or 'threaded' enabled produces errors (needing hard recalc). if anybody knows how to find someone with skills to work an this annoying problem i'd appreciate it very much, this bug is already affecting fun with the program for too long time. reg. b. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
