https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130140 --- Comment #9 from Naruhiko Ogasawara --- @DaeHyun Sung -san, let me confirm, you mean this is an import issue from XLSX file? At least in Japanese, LibO unable to recognize Excel's format sub-modifier (I'm not sure this is the right word, though), such as "[DBNum1]Standard" or [DBNum1]0". We have to choose which option should be assumed. In Japanese Excel, Arabic: 1 10 11 [DBNum1]Standard: 一 十 十一 [DBNum1]0: 一 一〇 一一 LibO always choose [DBNum1] to [NatNum1], which has: [NatNum1]:一 一〇 一一 or we can say LibO always assumes "[DBNum1]0" with some historical reason I guess), this is currently design decision. But you expect "一 十 十一", which is from "[DBNum1]Standard". Do you want to claim to change this behavior? NOTE: Now Excel can select "漢数字" as the number format, which always use "[DBNum1]Standard", so the current design seems incompatible with Excel. At least in Japanese, it is a considerable option to change it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118972] Writer should recognize ToC entries structure and formatting from MSO DOC/X (test with Update index)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118972 --- Comment #6 from Alvaro Segura --- Created attachment 160582 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=160582=edit Comparison of MSWord vs Writer rendering This screenshots show this issue. It also highlight the importance of keeping those tabs in documents like this one, which try to keep a proper alignment of numbers and titles (a style so necely done be LaTeX for example). This is IMHO more important than it seems. The style is kept upong loading the file, but is lost when updateing the TOC. Here is a possible hint: My guess is that Writer's and Word's TOC systems are different (Writer's is more sophisticated, I'd say). In Writer one can explicitly define that a TAB must exist between number and title. However, Word does not specify anything about the separa tion of number and title. What Word does, I think, is use the same format used in the numbering of headers in the document. If the document has TABS after section numbers then the TOC will have TABS, too. That is defined in the format of the multilevel numbering scheme. "Define new multilevel list", hitting "More >>" to expand the dialog to more options, and selecting an option for "Number followed by:". Can be TAB, SPACE or NOTHING. and this affects both the headings throughout the document, and the Table of Contents. Then, to achieve the same results, Writer could look at the existing format of multilevel heading numbering (which is correctly read). And add this TAB to TOC elements if the multilevel numbering uses TABS. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

After investigating more, I found that in Word, the bad cell area has top and bottom borders, but no middle border. If I enable the middle border then it shows up. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132880] Area properties don't match color handling the outline shape receives
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132880 Maxim Monastirsky changed: What|Removed |Added CC||momonas...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Maxim Monastirsky --- In addition to what Regina said: If you set a color when no shape is selected, then it will become the default for newly inserted shapes. This can be done with either the toolbar button, or with the Format > Area... menu command. With your steps, there is already a selected shape, so only that shape gets the color change. Otherwise, each time you will change the color of some shape, it will become the default for newly inserted shapes, which might not always be the desired result. wrt the color shown on the toolbar button: This toolbar button is a split button, meaning it has two clickable areas: (a) A dropdown arrow, which opens the palette window, and (b) The main part of the button, which allows applying the last selected color to other shapes with a single click. Now, given this function of the main part, it must always show the last selected color and *not* the currently active one, as otherwise it won't be clear what color will be applied when clicking the button. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
