Still in LO 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (8aee8c0cf1bdda1866594e75b0f9bd4b9a69c724) /
Ubuntu.
There is no graphical content in the file, it's text in a graphic frame/object,
and something called LockedCanvas [1].

An interesting detail:
"The locked canvas element acts as a container for more advanced drawing
objects. The notion of a locked canvas comes from the fact that the generating
application opening the file cannot create this object and can thus not perform
edits either. Thus the drawing object is locked from all UI adjustments that
would normally take place."

Miklos had an interesting comment in bug 43641 comment 6:
"It seems to me that such a shape can be created with inserting the shape in
powerpoint2007, then copy it to word2007, then saving as docx. This is
plain VML without drawingML fallback, and it seems that even if we have a
drawingML importer, the shape part of that is not connected with the docx
import."

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133717] New: enhancement request - FORMATTING calc sheet-specific page orentation

2020-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133717

Bug ID: 133717
Summary: enhancement request - FORMATTING calc sheet-specific
page orentation
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.5.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: skyh...@shaw.ca

I wish Calc page orientation was sheet specifc.

Better, to have selectable scope in the dialogue like this sheet, which sheets,
or all sheets. Not worried about multiple print areas within one sheet; a
bridge too far in my opinion, only hoping for a per sheet solution. I believe
current normal in Writer is page and scope specific page orientation, but Calc
is only file specific.

Did my best search, but other Calc page orentation-related reports appear to
address much more complex and detailed issues.

Thanks
Dale

Dear Martin Koeditz,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Dear chartier,

Please read this message in its entirety before proceeding.

Your bug report is being closed as INSUFFICIENTDATA due to inactivity and

information (please ignore any that you've already provided):

a) Provide details of your system including your operating
system and the latest version of LibreOffice that you have
confirmed the bug to be present

b) Provide easy to reproduce steps – the simpler the better

c) Provide any test case(s) which will help us confirm the problem

d) Provide screenshots of the problem if you think it might help

e) Read all comments and provide any requested information

Once all of this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED
and we will attempt to reproduce the issue. Please do not:

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 41192] [EDITING FORMATTING VIEWING] unneeded scroll to beginning of document when insert a frame

2020-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41192

Dear Mirosław Zalewski,

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';

Warm Regards,
QA Team

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133716] New: Unecessary Gradient in The Box Border of Presenter Console

2020-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133716

Bug ID: 133716
Summary: Unecessary Gradient in The Box Border of Presenter
Console
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium

Disturbing extra gradients

Step to reproduce

1. Open a Impress file or create a new one
2. Use second monitor to activate Presenter Console. Otherwise, use Open Expert
Configuration via Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Advanced. Search for
StartAlways. We should get a node org.openoffice.Office.PresenterScreen with
line Presenter. Double-click that line to toggle the boolean value to true.
Click OK > OK
3. Look at the attached screenshot, there are extra gradients in every corner
of the box that disturbing. This happens with kf5 and gtk3 backend. But not in
gen.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133529] calc: ui: filesave: conflict between sort and filter, unclear use of tag 'table:orientation'

2020-06-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133529

after some more investigation:

0. the conflict between sort and filter reg. being 'master of the table
orientation' is older, oldest version i could get my hands on is 3.3.0.4,
already buggy,

1. i could find the same conflict in apache openoffice 4.1.7, thus the 'root
cause' is inherited from OO, filter 'auto-harming' itself (wrong read in and
write out of filter definitions) is LO special and doesn't appear in AOO,

2. up to version 3.5.1.2 the bug only affected sheets / ranges where you
defined a filter and a sort in different orientation, horizontal sort (left to
right) messes up the .field values for the filter,

3. starting with ver. 3.5.2.2 something changed, at least the 'preset' for
bByRow in the database range (xmldrani.cxx), and the bug started messing up the
.field values on read of files which had been saved with active filtering,
without needing 'sort' to harm,

4. a 'follow up bug' is that starting with a save after reload the filter
writes the tag/flag 'table:orientation="column"' to the range definition in
files, and accordingly wrong values for the fields to get them back to the
right buttons despite being calculated against the wrong start value,

5. steps to test / verify:

5a. spread integers 1 to 9 in B3:D5, e.g. B3:1, B4:8, B5:2, C3:5, C4:6, C5:7,
D3:4, D4:9, D5:3,

5b. define a range for that area name it e.g. b,

5c. apply auto-filtering to that range (menu
varies slightly across versions),

5d. set a filter on the first column (B), e.g. select '2' to be shown,

5e. check the .field value for the filtering with the following macro:

[code]
sub test
ntemp = thiscomponent.databaseranges(0).filterdescriptor.filterfields(0).field
end sub 'test
[/code]

put that in your macro file under tools - macros - edit macros - basic macros
or similar, place the cursor on ntemp and press F7 to get a 'watch' on the
variable, step through the macro with F8, see '0' to show up for the watch,
it's the correct value for 'first column of range, zero-based'

5f. apply a horizontal sort to that range,

5g. recheck the filterfield with the macro, you'll get '1' as a wrong value,
would reference to col. C if used by macro / basic,

6. conclude sort and filter are conflicting,

7. only sort can set orientation=column, but filter can reset it, and both
evaluate the 'orientation', if they disagree (vertical filter / horizontal
sort) setting one of them will harm a previous set of the other,

8. in whatever attempt to change anything, starting with ver. 3.5.2.2, filter
'auto-harms' it's definition by a mistake in the read in and subseq. mistake on
re-save of files - (in ods format!, as that's the (only?) format holding
orientation definitions),

10. the initial conflict appears before write to file in runtime,

11. it's two different - but closely related - problems,
11a. sort-filter conflict reg. orientation, and
11b. filters problem how to read in and write range definitions,

12. each of them can be solved by either:
12a. different 'orientation-definition' for sort and filter, in memory and in
files, or
12b. 'filter' ignoring the orientation definition handeled by 'sort', in memory
and in files, (in detail: perform it's own and independent calculation of
.field values against he correct - column - offset / startCol.),

Regina Henschel changed:

 CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de

The error is in case ARCANGLETO in EnhancedCustomShape2d::CreateSubPath in
svx\source\customshapes\EnhancedCustomShape2d.cxx

The bracket consists of a quarter ellipse, a straight line and another quarter
ellipse. In case the handle is dragged to its top most position, the ellipse
has a height of zero. In this case a straight line should be used for the
degenerated quarter ellipse. But the current implementation generates no point
at all, so that only the middle segment is drawn.

I have not yet investigate, whether it is better to add a special case handling
here and still use the methods from /tools/, or change it completely to use
basegfx methods similar to ANGLEELLIPSE.

Deciding this something like this is deciding between rock and hard place... it
fixes obvious problems.. However I personally hate it if undo does something
'unexpected'

However there is no rush.. So lets float it for a while.. and lets see what
happens.. And evaluate after 7.0.2

Also in latest Linux version - unknown as I am on Windows at the moment, but
it's broken exactly the same way on Linux.

When asking to save remotely, Google prompts for six digit PIN which I do not
have.

It is a wonderful feature that used to work.

It no longer works.

I think it might be. However, it seems this is tricky to bibisect: tried with
win32-6.1 repo and it has commits, where the image will simply not show, when
you assign it to the button! Oldest and latest commits both work in this aspect
at least. So I'm not sure how to confirm, if I can't see the image immediately
after assigning it.

Any ideas?

I fail to see the relation between this ticket and bug 161648

Well - this is interesting. If you do an redo and undo after the initial do and
undo, it's correct again! Then you get a wrong redo-undo, then a correct
redo-undo, going in this four state circle. The initial position is always
correct, so it's eventually three states, but the initial position somehow
retains some different state.

While I have the understanding of my initial problem, I don't know what is
going on here. But something is missing, so every 2nd undo after the redo
actually work correct.

I won't have time to fix it currently. I don't know what is worse, the current
state or the previous one. Probably QA should decide?

Please explain.. to general.. the ODS takes 20 seconds.. the XLSX file within 7
seconds..

There is comment 4 - explaining the issue, but some improvement wouldn't hurt
(if possible).. or should the XLSX format be default for 1024plus-Column?
