[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133910] UNO: `callFunction`does not accept optional Array parameter

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133910

I have verified that the code I have presented works fine under two conditions.

One way is to run it in safe mode after booting.

The other way is to rename the user folder and run it after restarting LibO.

And when I put the user folder back and then run it, the same error reoccurred.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133717] enhancement request - FORMATTING calc sheet-specific page orentation

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133717

Not sure what to add or augment if uncomfirmed.

To elaborate, I want page orientation to be unique and seletable for each sheet
in a file. For example, I might want a chart on sheet one to print landscape,
and data on sheet two to print portrait.

Is this already possible, and I'm ignorant of accomplishing that?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132082] Users can't start Calc in a Japanese language environment

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132082

I have updated to 6.2-17. This version allows me to edit files in Japanese
view mode.

The remaining problem I'm aware of at this point is using it on my phone.
Open Calc/Writer on smart phone and go into edit mode. The user then waits for
a long period of time without any operation. Then I get the same error as
before. (Attached image "Command Error")
It's not as fatal a flaw as it used to be, as users can press the OK button to
return to normal.

I have since updated to 6.2-17. loolwsd 4.2.4-5.
Even in this version I can't open a file with a Japanese file name.

I tried Docker(4.2.4.5) version. I was able to open a file with a Japanese file
name here.
Is there still something wrong with loolwsd?

Dear tmacalp,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

All I know it, what we can do from that simple website > what we can do from
Libre Draw. It's easy & fast from my point of view.

I wish Libre Draw >= that website.

I wish Libre Draw to be more dynamic and very straight forward.

Currently, Libre Draw is not in that state.

1. In Writer, do Help->LibreOfficeDev Help (browser opens)
2. Type "Show Changes" into the Index box and search
3. Click [GLOBAL] Show changes...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134171] New: Custom Styles disappear from TOC

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134171

Bug ID: 134171
Summary: Custom Styles disappear from TOC
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mike.saps...@gmail.com

Description:
Custom styles in Writer allow creating headings like 'heading F' to produce
headings like 'F1 First Heading' work at first, producing entries in the TOC,
but suddenly fail and cannot be recovered in the document.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create new file
2.Create 3 different custom headings of form A1 Heading A, B1 Heading B, AA1
Heading AA. They have to be at heading levels 3, 4, 5.
3.Create table of contents.
4.Edit table of contents to have levels 1, 2, 3, 3, 3 so that the headings at
levels 3, 4, 5 all show at level 3 in the TOC.
5.Save file and adjust TOC display several times.
6. Option to ensure kiss of death save as docx and open again.

Actual Results:
At first the TOC appeared as expected. See attachment 1.

Expected Results:
The TOC appeared as in attachment 2. I could not recover the original even
though the setup screens all looked correct and I closed LO and reopened it.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
There are three screen shot attachments.

Ok, I repro with this on Linux and Windows. However, it seems to be unreliable
and thus a bibisect attempt yielded a bogus result for me. Even choosing the
right repo seemed to be a lost cause. It looks like it goes back to 6.2, but
not sure.

I followed that link, renamed the user directory to userx, started over,
repeated all the initial steps above to create a db, and things got worse:

https://i.imgur.com/jM1cS2L.png

I think more internal testing needs to be done in the beta for windows. There's
nothing more on my side I think I can do. This was a fresh install of beta 2 of
7.0.0.0 yesterday or the night before.

Nothing coming to me right off the top of my head for handling this case using
the canvas buttons interface, but sub menu items in the Navigator headings
context menu 'Outline Content Visibility' can be used to do this.

>Please check what happens when you

Assuming you are using the delete key to delete the paragraph, an assert is
failing.

core/sw/source/core/text/txtfrm.cxx:1249: TextFrameIndex
SwTextFrame::MapModelToView(const SwTextNode*, sal_Int32) const: Assertion
`static_cast(const_cast(SwFrame::GetDep())) == pNode'
failed.

This also happens when left or right arrows are used to move past folded
content. Initially I removed the assert as I could see no ill affects by doing
so but have been advised to not remove it. I think with a non debug build this
does not happen. This is something that requires higher knowledge of what
badness may occur.

How about making the delay half of what it is now before collapse button is
shown? Collapse button grabs focus on display so you should be able to use the
Space key to fold content or the Enter key to fold content including and sub
levels initially after it is shown. So the code from the ctrl+click patch to do
visibility toggle when mouse pointer is clicked on outline heading should be
added?

> And less of a taste thing, if you disable the "Show outline visibility"

> icon/button must not be hidden by the function.

Navigator heading context menu for outlines with folded content can be used to
show the content. Also the UNO .uno:togglecontentvisiblity can be used. Perhaps
if the 'Show outline visibility button' option is switched off all currently
folded outline content should be shown?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134169] New: [UI] Database connection wizard does not open right help page

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134169

Bug ID: 134169
Summary: [UI] Database connection wizard does not open right
help page
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: olivier.hal...@libreoffice.org
Blocks: 80430

The Help button of the Database wizard dialog send to the wrong Help page
(actually the default Help page for pages not found for the module).

Steps:
1) File > New > database (wizard opens)
2) Click help button

The HID sent to the Help subsystem is "swriter/vcl/ui/wizard/Wizard". This HID
does not exist in any page (suspicious to be a generic wizard ui dialog).

The HID to send to Help subsytem depends on the current page of the wizard.
Page 2 of the wizard depends on the database connector selected in page 1. For
example, if the connector is JDBC, the Help page for JDBC should open when
clicking on Help button.

This bug has similarities with bug#129068

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134168] New: LibreOffice Calc wrong calculation

2020-06-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134168

Bug ID: 134168
   Summary: LibreOffice Calc wrong calculation
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: anonimou...@hotmail.com

Description:
A simple multiplication is giving me wrong results.

On the attached sheet, you can see below the "Total Investido" marked in red
the formula and checking the results, it is giving me wrong results, in many
repetitions.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. "Recursive" Formula: =IF(E36<0;G35;(G35*SUM(E$5:E35)+F36*E36)/SUM(E$5:E36))
2. Copy the value of last line of the "recursion"
3. Multiply it by another result from other formula (a simple SUM)

Actual Results:
Multiplication like 147*147.91 gives me 21742,53 while it should be 21742.77
123*189.88 = 23354,64 (expected 23355.24)
116.32*229 = 26638,12

Expected Results:
Wrong math resulted.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I'm not really sure how to report it under the "steps to reproduce" and
"results" because it seems to be a internal error on how the calculation is
done. Rounding?

I'm not really sure how to reproduce it, not using the formulas described on
the file attached.

No, VLC comes with its own codecs. There was even a student project many years
ago with the aim of LibreOffice taking advantage of VLC, if it was installed.
Unfortunately the project did not fully reach its goal.

The single quote tic just shows the numerical cell value is being handled as
text on import. And, that is the way to enter numerical data as text via the
Formula bar.

Without the original OOXML document to judge its column formatting the filter
import of the sheet is not incorrect.

And as noted, the CSV import filters would need to match if you had exported
the OOXML to CSV with semicolon column separators and quote mark text
delimiter.

How did you install LO?
On which distrib are you?

LO packages on tdf websites are more for repositories maintainers since you
must deal with dependencies.

Unfortunately there is nothing actionable here. If you happened to capture a
verbose log of the update custom installation (e.g. with command line install
msiexec.exe /i LibreOffice_6.4.4.2_Win_x64.msi /L*v installLog.txt).

Otherwise, would need you to uninstall all. Install the 6.3.6 release, and then
repeat the 6.4.4 update with logging. Which is kind of a crap shoot the same
issues would present. But if it did you have the needed details.

If you prefer not to, that is fine as well. Just close this out Resolved
Insufficient Data. The record of the issue is here and if it becomes common
(it has not yet) we'll include your instance.

Thnaks.

True.. the STR to produce the crash are fixed.. to underlying problem is likely
still lingering around somewhere, but needs a new sample :-(.

Going for WFM for now

 Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE

The Navigation mode dialog has been removed for 7.0.0 and the Find bar control
implemented as droplist on the Navigator deck, but this regression through
6.4.4 remains.

That is the inability to single-click select the mode from the Navigation
dialog.

Two work arounds 1) use the Navigation mode selection from the Find bar
(integrated to Navigator deck for 7.0.0) or 2) Open the Navigation dialog --
use L/R keyboard cursor to advance to desired mode -- select with mouse click.

Anyhow this is a duplicate of bug 130004
