[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 65725] FILE_SAVE : Master document export PDF in headless mode doesn't show sub documents page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65725 rockoreq...@hotmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rockoreq...@hotmail.com --- Comment #14 from rockoreq...@hotmail.com --- This bug is also still present in Linux in LibreOffice 6.4.5.2 40(Build:2), and unoconv no longer works either, so soffice has now introduced this bug to whichever path unoconv was using and there is now no workaround. I note that in the GUI mode, Writer always asks whether I want to import the linked docs. So I tried setting Writer to automatically import linked docs (Tools / Options / LibreOffice Writer / General - Update links when loading) and because this setting doesn't work in the GUI, I also set my filesystem to be trusted by adding it to Tools / Options / LibreOfice / Security - Macro Security | Trusted Sources - Trusted File Locations. The automatic update then worked in the GUI, but it has no effect on headless mode. How do you go about getting a 7-year-old bug investigated in LibreOffice? It's obviously not hard to reproduce this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135952] EXPORTING: Crash when using export in libreoffice draw (100% reproducible)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135952 --- Comment #9 from bram.bugzi...@enicon.net --- I tried on a windows 7 system too. Initially I had 6.4.something on there and it did not crash (I noticed UI render was set to default in the about screen). (I still could not export to gif though, I get an error box 'Image filter not found' which seems to be related to this bug : https://www.mail-archive.com/libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org/msg630942.html. ) Then I installed 7.0.0.3 and then it crashes. If I disable Skia (unselect in Tools->Options->LibreOffice->View->Graphics Output and restart) then it does not crash anymore, but I do get the 'Image filter not found' error again for gif export, and for png export. I also noticed that the behavior of the dialog that freezes is erratic with respect to the size fields for the non crashing scenario. Eg I have drawn a box of 136.1 x 150 points I do export, selection and i get a size of 135.73 x 149.98 points, 37 pixel/cm which is a bit unexpected but maybe there are some conversion errors along the way somewhere ? But as soon as this dialog looses focus the values jump to 9,99 x 9,99 points. And If try to press the up/down buttons of the width then the height all of a sudden becomes 0,00. Trying to enter an actual value there makes everything hang for a while (after pressing enter in the width box) after which the screen just disappears and I go back to the main libreoffice draw interface. But he seems to have created the file (the enter press apparently trigger the button to start the export) For it crashes: Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64) Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: nl-BE (nl_BE); UI: en-US Calc: CL For this it works but it behaves erratic : Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64) Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: nl-BE (nl_BE); UI: en-US Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132133] Allow protecting only the format of a sheet
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132133 --- Comment #6 from Christopher R Lee --- I note that the Importance has been assigned to 'medium' - 'enhancement' which, in the drop-down list, seems to fall somewhere below 'trivial'. During the last few months, I have been helping someone set up a micro-enterprise, using LO for the office work. While (under French regulations), the administrative burden has been made as light as possible, I have been unable to create Calc spreadsheets (invoices, etc.) that have proved sufficiently reliable in the hands of users inexperienced in office IT. The survival of such small companies depends on reliable documentation and record keeping. Consequently, we are now searching for funds to invest in the Microsoft 365 Business Standard package. The cost is about 300 euro/year for two users, though the package includes online storage for which we are currently paying another supplier. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136050 Bug ID: 136050 Summary: Calc changes the cell type from time to date when the format-code is changed Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.4.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bugs_documentfoundation_org.5.k...@xoxy.net Description: I have a calc table where collect data about driving my car. The collected data is collected as follwing: km from: The odometer when I leave the start point (accurate to a 10th of a kilometer - only used for a different bug) km to: The odometer when I arrive the end point (accurate to a 10th of a kilometer - only used for a different bug) time from: The clock when I leave the start point (accurate on the minute) time to: The clock when I arrive the end point (accurate on the minute) When I auto calc the time driven (eg. "=D2-C2") the results show up as [HH]:MM:SS by default. When I change how the time is displayed with the format-code, the cell type is changed from time to date and the result is incorrect. Example: time from: 17:54 time to: 18:13 The calculation results in: * [HH]:MM:SS = 00:19:00 (default) * [HH]:MM = 00:19 * HH:MM = 00:19 * MM:SS = 19:00 * MM = 12 The default [HH]:MM:SS as well as [HH]:MM, HH:MM and MM:SS work fine. When the format-code is changed to "MM" the displayed result is incorrect. This can be fixed with "[MM" or "[MM]", but I would expect "MM" to work as well. I know that "MM" is used in the date-type cells to display the month, so from the code-logic point of view, it makes sence that that "MM" must represent a month. However, since HH:MM and MM:SS work fine, it does not make a whole lot of sence seen from a human-logic point of view. For this I have no idea how I would fix this - or what I would expect the program to do. Maybe CALC could add square brackets by default when you edit the cell as time-time and only if you switch to the date type by hand you can get rid of them. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter a time like 00:19:00 2. Change the cell format-code from "[HH]:MM:SS" to "MM" Actual Results: The result is displayed as month "12" Expected Results: The result should display only the mintes "19" Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 6.4.4.2 (x64) Build-ID: 3d775be2011f3886db32dfd395a6a6d1ca2630ff CPU-Threads: 6; BS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: win; Gebietsschema: de-AT (de_AT); UI-Sprache: de-DE Calc: CL I know that I should use the latest version of LO for this, but right now, I'm short on time. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136049] New: Improve Drop Caps to make them work with quotation marks.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136049 Bug ID: 136049 Summary: Improve Drop Caps to make them work with quotation marks. Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: f.tha...@posteo.net Description: Currently, if you want your Drop-Caps-Paragraph to start with a quotation / a sentence a character speaks, there are two options: 1. Only have the quotation mark enormous, which obviously doesn't look too great. 2. Have both quotation mark and the following letter big. This is a little better, but still isn't ideal. Why? Because many writers would prefer something like this: http://theworldsgreatestbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/quoteInitial1.gif or this: https://cdn.quotesgram.com/img/8/72/29973-Drop_caps_quote.png I suggest: 1. Create an [Ignore] option in the Drop Caps settings for a style. Make it a textbox or a field of common symbols where the user can write/choose symbols, that should be ignored. There, the user could, for example, put in/select quotation marks ("), which will make the first letter AFTER the quotation mark big. 2.1. Additionally, add the option, that IF one of those exception-characters was detected, LO could add/remove an extra-indent, to make the quotation mark not displace the Drop Caps letter. 2.2. In addition to 2.2., give the user to check a "Indent the first line by the skipped characters' width.". 3. Add settings to individually style both the "skipped" character before the Drop Caps and after them.
