[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 137550] New: FILEOPEN DOCX Floating table unnecessarily opens in frame
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137550 Bug ID: 137550 Summary: FILEOPEN DOCX Floating table unnecessarily opens in frame Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: filter:docx Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu Blocks: 10 Created attachment 166454 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=166454=edit Sample DOCX The attached DOCX is similar to bug 137548, with the following differences: - it's a floating table (has Text Wrapping set to Around), - in table Positioning, 'Relative to' is set to: Page (instead of the default Column, while 'Position' is keps the same, Center). => Table is crammed in a frame on a single page in Writer. This looks like one of the cases where the usual method of adding the table to a frame should be omitted. Observed using LO 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (fca525d570f4fada3db1a9bbee2e88a5a02839d9), 4.0.0.3 / Windows. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 137549] New: Open file hidden
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137549 Bug ID: 137549 Summary: Open file hidden Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.6.2 release Hardware: PowerPC OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: istep...@vaxxine.com Description: I sometimes find that when I have created a LibreOffice file, I can see it in the list of open files under "Window", but it can't be viewed. Sometimes I can find it visually, but clicking on the middle of the window causes it to disappear. Trying to open it again from the Mac finder doesn't help. This is so frustrating that I replaced release 6.1.5.2 with a newer one (6.4.6.2), but the problem is still occuring. Hardly an example of a stable build. Actual Results: I can see it on open file in the list of open files under "Window", but it can't be viewed. Sometimes I can find it visually, but clicking on the middle of the file's window causes it to disappear (not minimize). Expected Results: The open file still can not be found. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96077 --- Comment #7 from QA Administrators --- Dear Thomas Mueller, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135370] LO does not refresh screen with Skia/Vulkan and nVidia cards
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135370 --- Comment #34 from mv...@gmx.net --- (In reply to Luboš Luňák from comment #32) On my system I have never seen the "artifacts" or "garbled icons" as described in bug #136036 and bug #136407 with any version of LO 7.x, neither with the current version of the nVidia driver nor with the previous one. I cannot reproduce this bug. Perhaps it only happens on some of nVidia's chipsets, but not all? Regarding the topic of this thread. I must have been bit too bored this evening :-) so I tried out some more dev builds and found that with 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) of 2020-10-06 and 2020-10-08 the graphics still freezes on minimize->maximize, but with the builds dated 2020-10-09 and 2020-10-10 I can't reproduce the problem anymore. So I guess one of the modifications made in Build ID 75030b3a2d4336c494fbe799fb809a37ed7e582f of 2020-10-09 must have the side effect of curing this problem, at least for me. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137471 Michael Weghorn changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Michael Weghorn --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #0) > Follow-up to bug 128174: the CMIS dialog comes up centered of the main > window at the first call and goes down to the lower right corner if shown > again. The position goes even beyond the screen area making any interaction > impossible. Can you be a bit more explicit how to reproduce this? I don't know much about the CMIS/Remote files functionality, just quickly tried, but for me the dialogs are always visible. This screencast shows how it behaves for me on Debian testing (file will probably be deleted at some point in time in the future): https://nextcloud.documentfoundation.org/s/zgQrpEDAEEGoHAF Also, when choosing "File" -> "Open Remote...", then cancelling and doing the same a few times, the dialog is well visible in my case. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137542 Bug ID: 137542 Summary: SIGSEGV on tab cycling focus to input field in a table cell Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.3.6.1 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: chark...@pobox.com Created attachment 166437 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=166437=edit minimum example to trigger bug Attached is a minimum working example to demonstrate the crash. This appears to be caused by an interaction between focus traversal of input fields and table cells. To trigger the crash, it appears these conditions must exist: 1. focus is in an input field (e.g. added via CTRL-F2) 2. the focused input field is inside of a table cell 3. text is selected within the focused input field 4. the next input field that would receive focus is also in a table cell 5. the next input field has content before the input field in the table cell For example, click in the first text field once, which should focus the first text field with the text (all spaces) highlighted. Next press TAB to cycle focus to the second text field to crash. The crash has been confirmed on at least these libreoffice versions: libreoffice-writer-5.3.6.1-24.el7.x86_64 libreoffice-writer-6.0.6.1-20.el8.x86_64 libreoffice-writer-6.4.6.2-3.fc32.x86_64 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set option "Update external links on request" in Calc 2. Add the location "/tmp" as trusted location 3. Extract the attached archive to /tmp 4. Open file Test_02.ods in Calc 5. It shows you the "Error:450" in cells B3 and B4 6. The update of the external links is request by calc 7. Manual update the external links, now "Test" is shown in B3 and B4 8.
