[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138639] Wrong style update

(In reply to akazu from comment #3)

I confirm all steps from comment 3. I think, I've found the reason why this is
happening:

1. Put cursor in a paragraph with "TEO1 - Projekt - Bodování".
2. You can see in toolbar, that button "Toggle Numbered List" is active
3. Click on that button

Result: Intend after text changes

Additional information: Number from Numbering style is now displayed. If this
is not intended, please press "Toggle Numbered List" again.

So in sum: "Clear direct formatting" has no effect on a list, that has been
added with direct formating. I've reported that in bug 139693.

So I would close this bug as RESOLVED NOTABUG. Do you agree?

Does that make it an update/implementation error because it only became
apparent after a recent update.
Is software released with some parameters modified as a result of the developer
having to set various options to verify their code - but then not returning
them to the "normal" default?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 139693] New: LISTS: Clear Direct Formatting doesn't remove lists

2021-01-16 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139693

Bug ID: 139693
Summary: LISTS: Clear Direct Formatting doesn't remove lists
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dgp-m...@gmx.de

Steps to reproduce:
1. Write two or three lines in an new document
2. Select text and press "Toggle Numbered List" button
3. Select text and remove Direct Formatting (Strg + M)

Actual result:
List is still there

Expected result:
List is removed

This leeds to a problem, if you have a paragraph style with a list style (see
for example bug 138639)

Not only in Writer, but everywhere in LibreOffice you can't paste text in the
save as nor in the open dialogue. In fact, nowhere in a dialogue about handling
files, for example Insert Sheet from File... in Calc.

This is a major nuisance in my workflow, making LibreOffice unpractical. In my
workflow I open templates, make a tiny adjustment and save it under a new name.

I don't recall for how long this has been the case, but it has been around for
many LibreOffice versions now.

Thanks for updating help. I've tested again. Result:
List styles: New style from selection is possible with styles action icon, but
not with drag and drop.
Table styles: Both methods work

I also changed bug summary to be in line with proposal from Maxim in comment 9.

Dear kenneb01,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115010] gpg4libre: unit-test document encryptedGPG.odf has no reaction

2021-01-16 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115010

Dear Regina Henschel,

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

When I open a large TSV file I get this error

"The data could not be loaded completely because the maximum number of rows per
sheet was exceeded."

Request:

* Can this message be updated to say what that limit is? And how many rows were
skipped? Is it just 1 Million? 1,048,756 to be precise.

* Can this row limit be dramatically increased?

I'm running on a machine with 16GB ram, and Calc is using 3.7% of my total RAM.
I'd personally not impose any limit, it could easily load 20M rows on my
computer.

Murphy's Law struck once again, as I suggested it might. After the changes I
made to my documents mentioned in my previous post, I discovered it does indeed
still exhibit the text tearing problem--but not nearly as frequently or as
perceptibly. And, for the first time, it occurred on a document that did NOT
have a header. It still has never happened on a document that originated in
Word. Still, turning off Skia and going with hardware acceleration and then
changing the default page margins, tab settings, etc. so they were evenly
divisible by five, things have progressively gotten better, albeit still
unacceptable.

Page 2's table is bhasSameSubTypeIndex, so it never fills the rTableGrid and
thus is lost.

Regressions really need to be at least acknowledged, and preferably
investigated soon after they are reported. I don't really understand the idea
behind hasSameSubTypeIndex, but I suspect it needs major reworking.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 139681] New: CALC AUTOFILL EDIT applies existing pattern inconsistently when source cell range contents are formulae

2021-01-16 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139681

Bug ID: 139681
Summary: CALC AUTOFILL EDIT applies existing pattern
inconsistently when source cell range contents are
formulae
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: that.man.co...@gmail.com

Description:
When a predefined incremental pattern is used as a template with simple numbers
it fills according to the template but if the predefined pattern is cell
references then the autofill produces two patterns.
One pattern increments the first cell in the range + count of intervening cells
to the first empty cell, the second pattern then increments the subsequent
predefined values to the following relative number of empty cells also
incremented by three. The pattern persists and cells are auto-filled in blocks
of three.
I imagine the "offset" is consistently defined by the number of "filled" cells
in the selection.

Steps to Reproduce:
Sample sheet attached.
Column A has been auto-filled from 1 - 70 to identify the target "count" for
the formulae in Column C.
Initially, columns C & D only had the first three rows manually entered
Column C: observe the formulae in the first three rows increment the preceding
cell by 8 rows
Column D observe the numbers in the first three rows increment the preceding
cell by 8
Observe the subsequent formulae and values in cells C9 to D14
The auto-fill was the result of selecting the range C6:D8 and auto-filling down
to D14.
To recreate, either erase C9:D14 or simply reselect C6:D8 and autofill to D14
overwriting the existing entries.
Observe column D correctly increments by 8
Observe the formulae in column C where all the cells are incremented by three
RELATIVE to the original source cells.
I'm convinced the rationale for following the predefined pattern is far more
logical than an inconsistency that will vary depending upon the number of
filled cells encountered before the available target range.
Obviously, there's no problem when a single cell is replicated by auto-fill as
it logically increments by one.

Actual Results:
Formulae cells are not incremented according to the selected "template" cells

Expected Results:
Formulae incremented according to the selected "template" cells.

Reproducible: Always
