Can you explain what that is / what that > means? MUFFIN [1-4] is the LibreOffice marketing word for GUI development in GTK UI using UNO controls which included the Notebook Bar and customization of the Sidebar Deck framework. The Contextual Single UI mode was hybrid XML TB and UI NB work by Maxim on bug 125040 intended to suppress annoyances of a contextual po-up of XML TB (bug 124835 as a partial solution to bug 106846) by appending the XML TB to a minimal UI single line NB. In sum it is one of the cleaner UI flavors (MUFFIN) that LO offers as alternative to traditional Menu & TB. =-ref-= [1] https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2016/12/21/the-document-foundation-announces-the-muffin-a-new-tasty-user-interface-concept-for-libreoffice/ [2] https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Meetings/2016-01-15 [3] https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Meetings/2016-09-23 [4] https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Meetings/2019-05-09 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142653] Contextual Single user interface shows no toolbar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142653 stragu changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|NOTABUG |--- Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from stragu --- (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #2) > Sure it does. Insert something into a cell that needs a TB other than the > Formula Bar. Stuart, I'm not sure I agree it looks as it should. Have you seen the attached screenshot? Looking at the other main components of LibreOffice (which support this Contextual Single interface), they all have a default toolbar with icons for a set of essential controls and most-used features. Impress, Writer and Draw all start with "Undo" and "Paste". They also all have an icon to insert a Table or a Table. And then, a bunch of other default controls that users are likely to want to have handy at all times. In my opinion, Calc not showing a default icon toolbar with the main feature and controls, just like the three other main components have, looks inconsistent and feels like a bug. Furthermore, I don't think that "inserting something into a cell that needs another toolbar" is even working as intended currently. Try for example: 1. write some plain text in a cell, press enter 2. click on the cell: no text formatting toolbar 3. double-click on the cell, select the text: still no text formatting toolbar Even when that works (for example when clicking on an image), you end up with a top toolbar that pops in, moving the viewport. This does not happen with the other three main LO components with Contextual Single. For these reasons, I think Calc's Contextual Single user interface is not working as expected, and inconsistent with the rest of LibreOffice to the point that it feels like a bug. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128993] Annoying delay of 10 seconds when opening Libreoffice Writer files
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128993 schregen...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #15 from schregen...@gmail.com --- Hello! Something has changed. It is as if the bug has disappeared. When I now try to reproduce the bug by deleting the folder /AppData/Roaming/LibreOffice and then open LibreOffice documents again - there is no 10-second-delay anymore. And with no adjustments on the Internet-Proxy-Settings. I verified this observation by re-installing older versions down to 6.2.8.2 (where I originally reported the bug), and even then everything starts instantly now. With no adjustments on my side. The 10-second-delay is gone in all versions. Maybe this bug was an issue on the LO-Update-Server all along? Something must have been changed there and now all is good. I'm not sure this bug can't re-appear, but for now I would say the bug is gone and can be closed. I still marked it as duplicate of bug #135754, as the description from that is pretty much identical to mine. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 135754 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 68115] [Autofilter] Additional options (on top of window) are not accessible by Alt + letter shortcut
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68115 --- Comment #11 from stragu --- In the latest master build of LO 7.2 for Linux, there is no erroneous underline of the "S" in "Standard filter". The only three items that have an underline for a shortcut are: - _A_ll - _O_K - _C_ancel I tested them and they all work. Henry, you might want to try again with the latest version? Hopefully not an issue with the DE locale. However, none of the options at the top have an Alt shortcut: - Sort Ascending - Sort Descending - Top 10 - Empty - Not Empty - Text color - Background color - Standard Filter... So I guess this bug report is now about adding Alt shortcuts for all items in that top list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

It is hard to find > > out this type of historical information. > > Even current MSO 2019 does not support overline character formatting, only > underline and strikethrough. This looks similar to tdf#56080 -- both are asking to do something which is not natively supported by destination format. When one saves into non-native format LO shows a message: "This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in the currently selected file format <...>". So... if this warning is ignored... then... whose fault is that? I don't think this is "major, because of the data loss", unless it fails to save overlines in The Good Format. It looks more like "Enhancement". Possible implementation could add one line with proper style in the right position per line of text and probably group it. However, that will not work well on opening the file unless LO is allowed to store some "vendor extension" to read it back. Let me stop here before it started to sound as "WONTFIX"... ;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
