[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142926] On F1 / Help failure - No resolution path is identified for resolving errormesssage
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142926 --- Comment #2 from Paul Norman NZ --- Thanks for those thoughts. >"You made that choice when you installed." Not true. The problem is that like an enormous number of people now, I did not obtain my copy of LibreOffice through the download page, and so could never have seen the details mentioned about offline help being even available. Their first encounter with fact is when trying to use LibreOffice Hlepo through th menu system or using the F1 key. A clossal number of people now obtain LibreOffice thorugh other channels PortableApps, Choclatey (sp) ... etc and etc. So as there is a definte place for people to go to get the local help files, smay I please continue to suggest that it is good design thinking to state that clearly in the dialogue box that appears when the online help system first fails? For example provide a link to the appropriate place where the problem can be efficently resolved - cearly and not vaguely stating that it is the offical download page that the User needds to go to? >"IMHO documentation is sufficient, and the UI delivers appropriate >instructions." No I believe that the instructions are not sufficient as they are too vague, when a specific known lionk target does actually exist afterall. "``You may either install it from our website or your system’s repositories ..." Why not say where on the website ther is surely no problem with being accurate :-) >"Once clicking to use the default on-line help, why should notice need be given that an off-line version of help is available to be installed?" This then again relates to the fact that as the User may never have even seen the donwload page, with its very helpful informaiton about opff-line help files being available, they will end up on the Online-help version, and it woud never hurt to have a small remonder that off-line help is available? It is very valuable in many life situations to have access to offline help. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142927] UI Disable object animations with Slide Show settings
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142927 Regina Henschel changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel --- I think, the behavior of Impress and PowerPoint is contrary: PowerPoint: The option "Show without animation" has only an effect on animations like "Fly in" on objects. It has no effect on animation intrinsic to images. The animated gif always runs its animation. It cannot be disabled with the option "Show without animation". LibreOffice: The option "Animation allowed" has only an effect on animation intrinsic to images. The object animations like "Fly in" cannot be disabled with this option. The option "Animation allowed" reflects directly the attribute "19.392 presentation:animations" with its values "disabled" and "enabled". And the text is clear about the fact, that it does only act on image animations. The presentation:animations attribute enables or disables the playback of animations that are specified within embedded or linked images during a presentation. "images" includes animate gif and svg. So you cannot simple let this attribute work on object animation too. Perhaps you might introduce a new attribute to the element "10.9.3.7 "? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109083] Changes to table style do not propagate to tables using the style at selection
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109083 László Németh changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|ASSIGNED|RESOLVED Assignee|santha.bal...@simonyi.bme.h |libreoffice-b...@lists.free |u |desktop.org --- Comment #11 from László Németh --- tdf#109083 sw table styles: fix missing format update of tables at table (cell) selection. Table styles (implemented as table templates yet) allows to format all tables (with the same table style) at once. Unfortunately, this worked only without table selection, putting the text cursor in a table cell. But if a table cell/row/column or the whole table was selected (e.g. after changing its format), Manage Styles(F11)->Table Styles-> Style actions menu (see top-right corner of the pane)-> Update Selected Style updated only the style, but it doesn't propagate the changes to the other tables with the same table style. This patch removes the selection to fix the problem in the same way, as the proposed workaround. Note: this fixes the usage of the user-defined table styles, too (created by Style actions->New Style from Selection). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

To do that, possibly we should change tokenizer (?), so that it treats several summation operations on the same level as one operation analogous to SUM. It should definitely not chain summations grouped by parentheses (I guess, it would be automatic, since operations inside parentheses are not "on the same level"). I don't see any 'Native' connector. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142825 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #6 from Heiko Tietze --- The envisioned animation "style" is a user-defined set of attributes. It's a one click configuration, and I would assume it to be copied together with the object. But if you like, keep this ticket open. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142931 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added Blocks||91874 CC||qui...@gmail.com, ||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote --- (In reply to John Mills from comment #1) > Created attachment 173005 [details] > Possible icon location for Shortcut to launch the HUD > For now, while Tomaž decides how best to complete the feature, the appropriate action is to add the 'Search Co~mmands Ctrl+F1' to each of the MUFFIN NBs 'Help' assemblage buttons. On the Tabbed NB that is on the 'File' tab. The Command popup HUD is not ready for an UNO control for NB/TB button assignment, nor use in keyboard or menu customization. Alternatively, just toggle the fully functional 'Main' menu exposed and pick from 'Help' there as documented in the feature.
