[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119520] The table borders/content shifting when saving with selected content (and afterwards when deselecting)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119520 --- Comment #9 from QA Administrators --- Dear Telesto, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! The attached document contains a yellow, a blue, a green and a red custom shape. The yellow and green shapes have an attribute draw:path-stretchpoint-x set. The blue and red shape have the same coordinates, but they have no draw:path-stretchpoint-x attribute. The yellow shape has the attributes svg:width="6cm", svg:height="3cm" and svg:viewBox="0 0 21600 10800". So its x/y aspect ratio of the svg:viewBox is 21600/10800=2 and the x/y aspect ratio of its size is 6cm/3cm=2. So the values are equal and therefore there should be no stretching. That means it should look the same as the blue shape. The green shape has the attributes svg:width="6cm", svg:height="6cm" and svg:viewBox="0 0 21600 21600". So its x/y aspect ratio of the svg:viewBox is 21600/21600=1 and the x/y aspect ratio of its size is 6cm/6cm=1. Here it works. The error is in method EnhancedCustomShape2d::SetPathSize() 689 fXRatio = static_cast(aLogicRect.GetWidth()) / static_cast(aLogicRect.GetHeight()); 690 if ( fXRatio > 1 ) 691 fXScale /= fXRatio; 692 else 693 fXRatio = 1.0; Here it tests whether the shape width of the shape is larger than the shape height. But being ODF conform the ratio viewBoxWidht/viewBoxHeight has to be compared to ratio shapeWidth/shapeHeight. Variable aLogicRect has the size of the shape and variables nCoordWidth and nCoordHeight have the size of viewBox. https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/svx/source/customshapes/EnhancedCustomShape2d.cxx?r=0a1bfe1e#690 Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108198 [Bug 108198] [META] ODF export is unsuitable or invalid XML -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128773] Images not shown and new cannot be pasted in frame before caption if anchor type is changed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128773 --- Comment #10 from sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- (In reply to Timur from comment #5) > Although strange. > Happens only when image is pasted before caption: I believe I can explain the observed behavior, but I will it to others to decide whether there is a valid "problem" here, and how to describe it. Tests conducted with 7.4.0.0.alpha1+: 1. Open test file. (notice, in Navigator, that in addition to the schematic (Name: Image1) two images are hidden "Image2" and "test") 2. In the frame, where the image is supposed to be copied, place cursor in front of the first character (i.e., "F"). (notice that it is not possible to add any spaces before that "F" character) 3. Press Ctrl+M (or Clear Direct Formatting icon). (The two hidden images become visible (both anchors as character). 4. Delete both images, place cursor before "F" again. (notice that again it is not possible to add spaces before "F") 5. Press Ctrl+M 6. Now possible to add the image before "F" and change anchor to "as character", without the image disappearing. No explanation for how the file got into that state, but STR should give enough information to understand likely cause of "observed/reproduced" behavior. Additional information 1. Starting with "fresh" test file, "cut" schematic image (Image1 not shown now in Navigator), paste before "F" (Image1 appears again in Navigator). Cursor goes to EOD, but image is not visible. (Using Navigator, with Image1, "Go to" does not change cursor position, regardless of what cursor is placed, and not image frame is highlighted. "Edit" does not open the properties dialog.) 2. Do not think bug 149458 (comment 9) is a DUP of this ticket. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Writer makes it a hyperlink. 4. I control-select the link to open it. 5. Writer crashes. It happens with 7.3.3.2 and 7.3.2.2. See the attachement for a document to reproduce the problem. Only "@ #" should be colorized "black". + Variable names enclosed by square brackets are mixed colorized ("dark green" and "dark blue"), but should be colorized "dark green". + "Chr()", "InStr()" and "MsgBox()" are colorized "dark blue", but should be colorized "dark green". + "HEX" and "OCT" numbers are mixed colorized ("black" and "dark green") but should be colorized "red". + "REM", "REm", "Rem" and "rem" are colorized "dark blue", but should be colorized "grey". Attachment: "TestData - Code Colorizer Formatter.odt" [4] CodeColorizerBasic (no extension, basic macro) Uses for colorizing only regular expressions. No errors to be found. But this does not mean, that errors could never be found ... Attachment: "TestData - CodeColorizerBasic.odt" C o r e f e a t u r e ? [1] The Basic IDE is part of the core and therefore the Basic IDE printing feature [File]>[Print] is part of the core too. Isn't it ? [2] The Basic IDE printing feature seems to be a little bit old-fashioned, only black-and-white printing is possible contrary to the colorized basic macro code displayed by the Basic IDE. There's no "What You See Is What You Get" ... [3] Why not to replace the printing feature by an export-to-writer feature ? Colorizing basic macro code outside LO in the same way as is displayed by the Basic IDE is complex, difficult and error-prone. What's about to use directly or indirectly the already existing code colorizer of the Basic-IDE. For example, could it be possible to code some software that exports the displayed basic macro code in a writer document and replaces the SCREEN-color-tags by WRITER-color tags ? [4] The language of the descriptions of the (most) extensions is English. What's about LO users, that don't speak English ? If [3] could be realized, the language would be automatically the language of the LO version the user is using. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
