All my complaints about not being in scope rendered pointless with the
existence of this function (realized with bug 35546; Impress Insert > Media >
Photo Album).

And now I understand the wish for videos, shouldn't change much regarding UI
and workflow.

Is there an (open) standard for photo albums? If not I would refrain from
implementing a particular solution like Google Photo or Facebook's Instagram.
That's better done per extension.
