Duplicating this to bug 106265

@Francisco, please comment over in the other issue on the count of active fonts
you have, and if you have the Language Tools extension installed.

Thanks!

OK, so just to confirm. The only crashes are when you enable the OpenGL
rendering?

It could be that your GPU and driver should be black-listed (not allowed to run
OpenGL) unless you force it.

Please post your GPU and driver details.

Copy from a run of "msinfo32.exe" in the Components -> Display panel and paste.

The blocked meta bug 93529 will alert the appropriate developers.

No, just took the scroll bar with the pointer and start to move up an down.

No crash here from Character dialog.

Hi Stuart,

I stopped when I disabled OpenGL. Also, some problems regarding the speed of
displaying text while typing disappeared.

However, up to here, LibO 5.0.6 didn't had this problem.

Does the crash still occur if you disable Tools -> Options -> View: Font Lists
"Show preview of fonts" by unchecking it and restarting.

The list of fonts will then just show in the system font with no preview.

Also, is there a particular font that seems to cause the crash?

Do you have a crash if rather than the Font drop list box on the Formatting
toolbar you use the Character properties dialog and scroll the fonts there?
Again is there a particular font that seems to cause the crash?
