I can confirm it happens when trying to print to an Epson L355 printer from
LibreOffice 7.3.5.2 on Windows 10.

I formatted my document to use "Envelope C6/5", which is 22.90x11.40cm, but the
print dialog shows the paper size as "A4", which is 29.70x21.00cm, in landscape
mode.  So when I try to print on an envelope (which is put on the printer in
landscape orientation), the printing happens outside the paper, well above it
should be.

If I define a custom paper size on the printer driver (it doesn't have
"Envelope C6/6" by default), LibreOffice pulls the custom paper size, but: 1)
LibreOffice does not automatically select the custom paper size; 2) When I
select the custom paper size I added on the printer driver, LibreOffice still
shows "A4" on the print dialog preview.

To be sure it was not a bug on the printer driver, I opened the document with
Microsoft Word, and it printed correctly.  So the bug is in LibreOffice.

LO does not lay out or print documents correctly. It prints on 1/4 of the page
in landscape only. Portrait flips back to horizontal. Brochure setting seems to
be permanently turned on. Please fix this.

I experienced the something similar when trying to print an 8.5x13 paper size
document. Even after I set the document size to 8.5x13 on the print properties,
it shows that it is set to "German Legal Fanfold 8.50in x 13.00in, but when I
try to print it goes back to Letter size or when I open "Properties" again. Am
I missing a "Save Settings" button or something?

I am printing to a network printer (EPSON L1455), it has two cassettes
(Cassette 1 is set to Letter size and Cassette 2 is set to 8.5x13). I tried
opening the file on Office Word and printing from there, it worked normally.

I recently updated to 7.1.1.2 but I don't know if this was a problem in
previous versions, I usually save to PDF before printing anything but I was
trying to print something out quickly and found this problem.

To resolve this issue, change the default paper size of your printer:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and the click Printers.
2. Right-click the appropriate printer, and then click Properties.
3.Click the Paper tab, and then click the paper size you want to use in the
Paper Size box.
4. Click OK, and then close the Printers folder.

take a print out of my work the same day because

I also faced the same paper size problem .I have bee=n using Epson printer but
sometimes epson printer printing blank pages and I thought it was paper size or
ink cartridge problem and checked those things but could not solve the problem.

I wonder, if this is another manifestation of bug 65205.

There we have a quote from Dave:

"On Linux, if you are using LibreOffice and the Tabloid paper size does not
appear, it's because that size is not in the PPD file. In our case, HP did not
have that paper size in the file. I hacked in the paper size and metrics and
it's working."

No, I'm not sure where the problem lies. But the print still doesn't respect
the paper size setting. I don't know where to look for the exact information I
would need to find out.

The Use Only Paper Size was not ticked in the print dialog options. But it
still will not print correctly. It still shows letter size being 8 in. x 10 in.
And it prints as if that is the paper size even though it's really 8.5 in. x 11
in.
