            Bug ID: 118978
Summary: EM (emphasis) and "bold" and default character in
                    styles menu and styles toolbar
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: j...@cspv.hu

Description:
hi,

I was not particularly impressed by the fact that a "Styles" menu appeared, BUT
I am totally so by the Styles toolbar (!!! awesome)... I am, too, an HTML5
believer... also believing the LiO should produce a beautiful, intelligent and
clean HTML output whenever it comes to that...

#1- - - The Styles menu
 #1/a
there should be a separator above "Default Character"
and one below "Source text" ..

and the list types should be separated like this, too...

why? cause it is 2 radio button sets.. so to speak..

 #1/b
the title "Default Character" could be replaced with something else...
like "no style for the character(s)", to mention something ridiculous :)

BUT it would be even better to name it so that it would suggest "CLEAN style"
Cleaning the styles...

this would be logical cause this is the way you can actually REVOKE the
style...
"CLEAR character style", another candidate :)

#2 - - - the Styles toolbar

  #2/a
letter "A" is misleading...
EM still is informative, but "E" alone, like in 6.2.alpha, is totally not...
A and E seem to be something of the same type...
whereas, "A" cleans off the assigned style... it is not a style but an eraser
:)
(it is a style, I know, but both as default style and in terms of if some code
needs to be added, we can say that it is "WITHOUT a style", whereas the other
3 assign a style)

so, A should be, I think renamed to "C" (like clean or clear or no style)

we have to consider, also, that if there was a "clear all styles off these
characters, it would do the same as "default character"

- - - - - the other two suggestions are actually "bugs" in terms of behavior
other than expected... so I'll file them independently...

Steps to Reproduce:
1. drop down "Styles" menu
2. try to determine which items are in one radio button group
3.

Actual Results:
 you have to try

Expected Results:
you should see -- it should be indicated

Reproducible: Always
