Currently, multiselections are cleared on right mouse button click and then the clicked on entry is selected before the context menu is shown. Other menu items, that I can think of, that may be of use are Cut, Copy, and Paste. 'Rename...' would be greyed out or not shown when there are multiselections. This can be done already in Writer when the navigator is in headings content navigation view. I saw Calc file with hundreds invisible micro shapes. I can see it all in the Navigator but It was impossible to select it all and then delete for one action.
