It is totally unacceptable to expect a user to know how the OS and so on work.

If this were a beta version I would agree I should have checked.

copy and pasting is such a common feature and being unreliable leads to all
sorts of mistakes when it goes wrong.
It renders the applications totally useless as you spend more time
