Bug ID: 145243 Summary: Once a sheet is protected, a cell with active conditional format can not be deleted or edited. Even if the protection is unchecked in Format Cells - Cell Protection Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.3.0 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dakotapit...@yahoo.com Description: I have a conditional format in LibreOffice Calc version 7.1.6.2.0 that changes a cell color based on a date a user enters into the cell. The sheet is protected. I have the Format Cells - Cell Protection "Protected" box unchecked, once the cell has changed color based on the date entered, the user is not able to edit that cell. It gives the error message that "Protected Cell Cannot Be Modified" When unchecking the protection in Cell Protection, I have always been able to edit the cell, regardless of color change, now that option no longer works. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add conditional format to change cell color based on any logic you want 2. In that cell, go to Format Cells - Cell Protection, Uncheck the Protected option to allow cell editing 3. Protect Sheet 4. Add text to activate color change for Conditional Format 5. Try to Backspace the cell - the error message dialogue now pops up Actual Results: I received the dialogue box stating that Protected Cells Cannot be Modified Expected Results: I should be able to backspace the text in the cell and re-enter text needed Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Need to be able to backspace text in a specific cell when Cell Protection is disabled in a Protected Sheet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
