It seems that none of the table attributes can be changed on multiple tables at a time. i.e. you can't change the border of multiple selected tables. You can change the text in each cell, when multiple tables are selected. This may have to do with how/what is actually selected, is it the table that's selected or is it the text inside the table? Updated steps to reproduce: 1. open attached simple table background 2. select all text by using Ctrl A(press multiple times as needed) 3. right click selection, go to table properties, select background, select color, select table, then change the color of the background The background of the multiple tables stays the same. I've attatched the a file with a simple test case that I used.
