[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58260] EDITING: Don't deactivate the calc formula bar when activating and deactivating a chart
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58260 A stgohi-lob...@yahoo.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from A stgohi-lob...@yahoo.de --- Could you please give more information about your bug to reproduce it? Why do you need the FORMULA BAR if you are in the chart format mode after two left mouse clicks on the chart? This bar is used for inserting a formula into a cell? If you select the chart only with one left mouse click or select any cell in the sheet then you would have the FORMULA BAR. Or is there a misunderstanding from my side? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58260] EDITING: Don't deactivate the calc formula bar when activating and deactivating a chart
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58260 --- Comment #2 from Francisco franciscoadriansanc...@gmail.com --- Created attachment 78278 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=78278action=edit formula bar in excel when editing a chart Why do you need the FORMULA BAR if you are in the chart format mode after two left mouse clicks on the chart? Sorry, I give for known that when you edit a chart in MS Office, you can edit if directely from the formula bar when selecting a series. You are able to do this insead of entering in the chart dialog. And yes, it's quite useful. I'm attaching a screenshot of how it seems and works. This bar is used for inserting a formula into a cell? Yes, or at least, is positioned in the same place. The main difference is that in MS Excel, you don't need to make a double click over an objet to activate it. So, when you select on object as a chart, the formula bar remains in the same place, but it shows the formula series (see screenshot). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
