I've updated to LibreOffice 4.1.4.2 and Ubuntu 13.10 and the issue is resolved.
Thanks everyone!

NoRepro:4.1.4.2:Win8

and from my side: NoRepro:4.1.4.2:Ubuntu13.10

I tried reproducing but this is no longer happening. Can you please install
4.1.4.2 and see if the issue persists. If so, please re-open this bug.

Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest LO release? Currently
4.1.4.2: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/

--- Comment #2 from Jacques Guilleron guillero...@aol.com ---
I don't reproduce using Windows 7.
But try this:

Select first the word to find and hit Ctrl + F. The selected word is now in the
Find window. Type Enter. The next word to find will be selected, and you can do
it again. Select an other word and type Ctrl + F. The new word to find is now
in the Find window.

Does this work on Ubuntu?

Kind regards,

Jacques

not reproducible with LO 4.1.4.2 (Win8)

Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO?
Can anybody else confirm this issue?
