To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help

These are grouped shapes being imported with incorrect Z-order:
- Right click - Enter Group
- Right click - Arrange - Send to Back : shape with text becomes visible.

retested with 5.3.4.2 and recent 6.0.0.0 alpha daily build.

PPTX attachment 86174 is still incorrectly loaded by LibO with missing text in
the shapes (which is oddly hidden underneath the shape as pointed out by
Micheal Meeks in comment 2)

I confirm that there's no issue if the PPTX is created by LibO from the
original PPT file (see attachment 93032 )

 at Comment 0 and I convert in PPTX I see no loss of text in the shapes...
 only bullets appear in the text outside shapes. see my attached zip.

now bullets are gone and the .pptx created by 4.2.3.3 looks exactly the same as
the original .ppt   -- improvement

 If I download the PPTX from the 2nd link I see missing text inside shapes.

that file has indeed .pot extension, however when I load it in 4.2.3.3 the text
is still hidden. saving as .pptx doesn't change anything.
saving it as .ppt causes loss of images.

sice this last part of the bug is still reproducible in 4.2.x I move this
report to the mab4.2 list since 4.1.x reached end of life

Attaching a one-slide version; oddly the text in the right hand side box
appears to be there almost underneath the shape ;-) - you can see it only when
