Before I tried the solution of Rob Snelders, I installed the latest version of LibreOffice 4.1.3.2. but this did not help. But removing the user directory (see comment 1 Rob Snelders) did help, I don't get that screen anymore, LibreOffice starts immediately. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/User_Profile for information how to do it. The original problem of how this appears and stays is not solved with that however. I can't reproduce it in ubuntu with 4.1.1.2. Possible it happens because one can't be restored.
