It is not possible to mark text across a table. Top-down, bottom-up, mouse, keyboard. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Writer 2. Enter some text 3. Enter a table via Insert – Table 4. Click below the table 5. Enter some text again 6. Either use your mouse to mark the text and the table, or use your shift and arrow keys As soon as you reach the table, the formerly marked text is not marked any more ... :( HTH Thomas.
