Can you try it with latest LO 4.2 daily build [1]. I think this might be fixed
now.

This problem I have on Windows 7, Lo 4.2 and Gimp.

1) Open Calc
2) Menu Insert - Picture - From File
3) Select a file and click Ok (insert into Calc)
4) Select inserted picture and copy ( Ctrl+C )
5) Open GIMP

I can reproduce this in Linux - LO 4.2.1 but it works in master.
