With no other applications running, Libreoffice will open the file eventually (takes around 10 minutes). Thanks for you help. Writer Guide, the LO doc for Writer, 439 pages, 120927 words, is opened in 8 s. This will take a few more time for a docx, but less than 1 mn. In my opinion, there's still a problem. If you can open your file with LO, save a copy with odt extension. I can close this report, but don't hesitate to reopen if you don't achieve to open it.
